My 2007 sea ray mercury smart craft is not getting communicateon from the engine how do I fix that?

with water craft , the biggest problem is incorrect wiring used in the communication harness
the insulation allows water egress onto the copper which corrodes inside the insulation and causes failures
run continuity checks from the engine plugs to the instruments to check for resistance from corrosion check pins in connections for rot

Egine overheats

You did not mention the Thermostat which controls the temperature of the engine. Did you mean the Thermostat when you said temp sensor? If not, then change the thermostat.

2005 buick rendezvous thermostat

here is a pic of the thermostat housing in case you dont know what it looks like. its a very easy part to change although sometimes they are hard to get to. just make sure you do not put the thermostat in backwards the coil on the thermostat should go towards the hot side (coolant coming from the engine)

Where can i find the thermostat on 1997 volkwagen jetta

Hello. I don't have your type of car; however, I can help you with youyr question because all thermostats are located in basically the same location. What you need to do is look for the upper radiator hose and follw that hose back to the engine block. Where the hose ends is the egine block, thermostat inlet pipe. The thermostat is located inside of this inlet pipe. There should be two bolts on this inlet pipe. Remove these two bolts and it should be there. Replace the thermostat and reinstall the inlet pipe. It is avery easy fix.

I need to change the thermostat on a 1997 buick skylark 2.4

water pump is located at the very back of your car engine almost touching the firewall.
its a pain to get back there and just pray your water pump dont actually go out cause its best to take to a mechanic its all inter twined with the timing chain and alot of removal just to take out and replace..best of luck

there are three hoses leading to the water pump. the biggest one oviously goes to the thermostat housing, but the other two are much smaller 1 inch hoses, one of wich goes on the water pump and the other on the thermostat housing. if you follow the hoses one will connect to the upper part of the overflow for the radiator after hitting a T in the lines, that hose connects to the thermostat housing, and the other goes to the water pump its self.
