Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one.

Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object using the eyepiece mentioned above.

Line up the small finder scope with the main tube-- point the scope at the top of a distant telephone pole or church steeple.

Without moving the scope, line up the cross-hairs in the finder scope with the same object. Once this is lined up you can use the small finder scope to locate objects in the sky.

Hello, I just brought my sigma macro 105mm lens and Im having trouble getting it to work probably on my nikon d90, they only way I can get it to work is turn the aperture on the lens to f32 I cant change...

Turn the aperture ring to f/32 and leave it there. After that, forget the lens has an aperture ring at all. You can let the camera control the aperture in any mode except the M and A modes. In the M and A modes, you control the aperture by turning the command dial on the front of the camera, the same way you control the aperture on a lens without an aperture ring.

When I look into both the finderscope and the telescope, everything is upside down. We can't figure out if it's assembled wrong or what???

Hi there,

That is just the nature of the beast with most telescopes. When there are two concave or positive lenses in play, the object being viewed appears upside down.

The ways around this are using one positive and one negative (convex) lenses or adding a third lenses. The options for a third is sometimes referred to as an erector eyepiece.

As it stands, if it's upside down, it's assembled correctly

The battery cavity in the trunk fills up with water. I have removed the battery and dried it out but there doesn't seem to be any drain holes to drain out any water collected in there. I found a small...

I think you should be looking for the water leak first ! The trunk rubber seals and the tail lamps are high on the suspected list. The drain hose you are looking at could be the fuel tank filler vent hose , necessary to stop vapor lock in the fuel system . Remove the trunk liner and replace with newspaper and check daily for water tracking daily . good luck

I also bought one & have no idea how the lenses should work...

Verify that the mirrors are aligned; look through the eyepiece holder (without an eyepiece) and you should see the main mirror with your eye looking back from the center. Ensure that there are no filters on the eyepiece, and use the lowest power one to begin (longest focal length).

My camera cant focus on anything

Hi there,
It seems as if the lens isn't installed properly, make sure it's screwed in right in its mount.

Good luck!

My sony camera displays Turn camera off and on again

I had exactly the same problem with my Sony Cyber_Shot. Here is what I did and the problem was fixed. While I turned the camera off, I pressed down the lense very softly (some up and down motion). After a couple of times, the lense retracted almost completely. Then I pressed a little harder until the lense retracted 100% as normal times. I turned it on everything was back to normal. If the lense does not have mechanical problem, you should be able to do what I did.
If there is no mechanical problem, most likly some dirt got on the sides of the lense while it was open. Try keep it very clean always.

Good luck;

Camera is out of focus and i cant seem to chage it. it picture is so blurr that i cant even tell what it is poined at. it wasnt like this when i bought it. can you help?

Sorry, this service is quite stupid,
I`ll try.
Many cameras has a circle arround lense. While looking a picture try to rotate that cirle.
Best wishes!

Really Dark Viewfinder

That would explain the darkness if the lens is stopped down. It would seem the aperture control is faulty on the camera body. Normally, the aperture remains open until you take the picture. It is only closed down while the shutter is open.

Broken?

If if won't focus manually then there is a problem with the helicoid and you'll need it professionally repaired. Don't force it.
