Hello here is how i unlocked mine, info provided by Samsung, start by turning the phone off then removing the sim card,
switch the phone on without a sim card,
type in dial *2767*2878# then wait for it to reset!
once it boots up itself, the phone code is now removed and unlocked , you can now shut it down reinsert the sim card and voila!
You need to unlock your samsung b2100 network first before you can use that sim card, To unlock samsung b2100 you must know what the original network from that phone. Example if you buy that phone from At&t vendor you will need samsung unlock code for at&t network, got it? After you have appropriate unlock code for your phone, you just need enter that code and your samsung b2100 can accept any sim card from other network. I hope my solution can help you to solve your problem.
If your B2100 is SIM unlocked (many of these phones were sold new with the SIM Unlocked) then the problem is with your SIM card. If the SIM card works in another phone but not your B2100 it may still be the SIM card.
I'd suggest you take your phone to one of your cellular provider's stores and have them put one of their (activated) SIM cards in it. If their SIM card works in your phone, then you know you need to replace your SIM card with a new one.
There are three ways
to unlock your mobile phone 1. TEMPORARY UNLOCKS: Put a non-accepted
SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new
menu. Select Malloc Fail. In newer phones: #*7337# 2. If you want to
unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will
reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your
other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be
unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call button and it's unlocked to all
networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer
phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in
it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested) 3. Type
*#9998*627837793# Go to the 'my parameters' and there you will find new menu
where you can unlock phone.(not tested-for Samsung C100) To unlock a Samsung
turn the phone off take the sim card and type the following code *#pw+15853649247w#. If you still have
problem then you can unlock your mobile using these sites:-
Could you tell me the locked you said is the sim locked or the phone
If the sim locked, you can input the PIN code to unlock your cell
phone, but if you have input the incorrect PIN code for three times, the sim card
will be locked up,by then, you need to input the PUK code to unlock the sim
card, both codes might have been provided along with the sim card to you,if
not, please contact your network operator. The PIN code...You can get more information in the website:
Either you need to put a code in the phone to accept any new sim card or the the phone sounds like it has been reported lost or stolen or the previous sim card had the wrong pin number inputted causing the phone to lock and then the right PUK number was not entered. If you want to run to the expense of buying a serial cable for your phone I can pinpoint where you can get software for samsung phones. Look at my profile at mail me. Hope this helps.
