Make sure you have installed the latest BIOS for the board and have reconnected the 4-pin auxillary connector to the motherboard.

I have use intel d102ggc2 motherboard and it support 2gb ddr2 667mhz why?

The motherboard supports an Intel processor, with Up To, an 800MegaHertz Front Side Bus. (800MHz FSB)

Ram memory typically operates at half of the Processor's,
FSB frequency rate. ('Speed')

If you have a Processor with an 800MHz FSB, typically you would want ram memory that operates at 400MHz.

Ram memory at 533MHz is pushing it. Still operates at 533MegaHertz, though.

[Mega = Approximately 1 Million

Hertz stands for Cycles per Second. Named after a man with the last name of Hertz.

Frequency rate is proper speak.
'Speed' is slang brought out by Intel advertising, so everyone could understand better.
'Speed' = Frequency Rate.

DDR2 Sdram at 667MHz?
Means it can operate, UP TO ,a frequency rate of 667 Million Cycles per Second ]

I'll bet your DDR2 Sdram at 667MHz, is clocked down.
Bet it isn't running at 667MHz. More like 533MHz.

I have a 512 DDR2 (533 FSB) RAM in one of my slot in Intel D102GGC2 Mother board,can i put a 2 GB DDR2 ram in another slot.If yes then What FSB will match and what is the maximum capacity of ram per slot?

This motherboard will support maximum 2 GB of total system memory. so configuration is should be 1GB + 1GB or one 2GB in one slot. If you attempt to install 2GB + 512MB, this is unsupported. but you can try if might the system can read it or not. there is no serious problem for installing memory exceed than maximum system memory...
Memory supported is DDR2 533 Mhz and DDR2 400 MHz...(sometimes on the market DDR2 533 will described as module name PC2-4200 and DDR2 400 as PC2 3200)

Your motherboard has the follwing memory support : DDR2 533/400 SDRAM 2 slots, Single-channel (2GB2 Max). As long as it is supported by your motherboard there would be no problem since your processor is also supported by the motherboard.

Please refer to the follwoing links from Intel:

I have Intel HT 3.00 Ghz Processor and Intel D102GGC2 motherboard. May i expand RAM upto 2 G.B.and may i install Windows 7

The Intel D102GGC2 motherboard has two memory slots that will support up to 1G of DDR2 533 (PC4200) or DDR2 400 (PC3200) SDRAM in each slot for a maximum total of 2G. There is a note on the Intel webpage that states that the memory should support SPD (Serial Presence Detect), which means that it should conform to JEDEC standards. Here is a website that sells memory for that motherboard:
http://www.memorystock.com/memory/IntelD102GGC2.html

If the memory doesn't support SPD you will probably get annoying popups telling you such. See this webpage:
http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d102ggc2/sb/CS-026579.htm

Sorry, the Intel D102GGC2 does not support Windows 7, which means the drivers for Windows 7 are not available from Intel. That motherboard will support Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Linux.

There is a free transformation pack available here:

Here is the Intel webpage for the D102GGC2:

I have intel 945GCCR motherboard which is giving me ''FF code error'' and does't give the beep after processing the processor eventhough processor is heating, could plz solve this problem?...

Few things to try... unplug all hardware that you dont need and clear the CMOS on your motherboard. Then go from there..
If the problem persists, chances are you have a fried motherboard.

Green display for intel d102ggc2

joukanrar

r u check ur monitor with other pc. if not then at first open CMOS setup (BIOS setup in intel board) and watch that it also with green display or not if it also green means ur system is ok. now just problem is in monitar signal cable ( one of video signal wire brackage) or vga connector.

if it is(CMOS setup screen) not with green display then problem with ur video driver. uninstall this driver and again install it.

thanks
