Ebay Sale My 2005 Acura TL with 90,000 Kms is in great shape, no engine problems, damages or hidden defects, transmission automatic.I want to tell you that i am the 2nd owner. The car is certified and E-tested.The price is $3,000.00.The only reason for selling the car so cheap is because I recently divorced my wife and I am a single father with 2 children and I don`t need it and i want to sell it fast, because i`m so busy with the children and my job and i don`t have time to stay and meet with all my potential buyers i gave the car to a shipping company that will ship it to the next owner.I want to tell you that the delivery process is payed by me and I want to finish this deal through eBay because they are a biggest company and we can both be protected and insured. If you're interested to purchase just email me with your full name ,shipping address and your phone number , so I can notify eBay that you are selected as my buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. Is this above paragraph true?

There is an old saying, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. I would not take a chance on a deal with this kind of story. At the very least they are phishing for people's information. I would not have anything to do with that purchase or give any of my info out to that person.
Thank you,
Lee

Type your model description in to e-bay and when you find your part for sale, you will see what different year and models it will fit.
Look at more than one application to be sure.
God bless your efforts.

The car is a 96 acura tl 2.5 for the transmission fluid question.

Check while idling in park. Smell to see if fluid smells burnt. Replace if it does.

Transmission slipping... no check engine light on... miles under 90,000

If it told you to check the transmission, there's a code stored. But chances are it's an enhanced code or a U, C or B code that your code reader can't read. A professional scan tool is needed to read those codes. The computer never posts a message without setting a code. NEVER.

I have just changed the timing belt on a 2001 Acura TL and now the engine turns over but will not start.

did you follow all steps in the FSM on this? if not, why not.
id never crank any interference motor over, with out checking
the timing 3 times, or 4th after sober, or after Cell phone died.
stop , take a break, or a nap , then check timing one more time.
and sparks out, roll crank by hand, no hit? and the 4 cycles.
of OTTO cycle, are looking good, per valve action viewed.
Intake, compr. fire stroke, exhaust, repeat? good a actions?
This last step is covered in all ASE classes on topic.
never just crank it. DOHC engines, or any that are known or suspected as being interference. (i do a leak down test, im so paranoid ($3000 new engines...make me that way)
its your motor. so....

what engine, there are many? world wide.......
Acura DATA?
Engine Interference Replace belt?
1.6(d16a1) Yes N/A
1.7(b17) Yes 90,000
1.8 (b18 all) Yes 90,000
2.2 & 2.3 (f22 and f23) Yes 90,000
2.5 (5 cyl.) (g25)Yes 90,000

3.0 (J30) Yes 90,000
3.2 (C32) Yes 90,000
3.2 (SLX) (J32)No 90,000
3.5 (C35) Yes 90,000
3.5 (SLX) (J35)No 90,000

end data:

Let guess what happened? and what the right path is.
Interference motors.. (no context to your post so.....)
1: engine died.? did it? a KEY POINT THAT !
2: if find my belt , Tbelt all funky.
3: i put in a new one. (i time it 3 times, sober, no cell phones on ear)
4: i roll engine, by hand ,seems ok. ? yes.
5: i do a leak down test, on each cylinder at it's TDC fire points.
it passes, so i crank it.
it fails, oops, valves bent (stop , dont pass go or collect $200)

not doing this, in the correct order invites total destruction.
Unlimited,.....................................
google that , DOHC went boom.

2008 acura tl is pinking under load , what can i do ?

Hello.

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems.

When do I use the d 5 gear in acura 2003 tl 3.2 liter

Pretty much all the time!

D3, D4, and D5 are all just *DRIVE* like on any automatic transmission, EXCEPT
that the number next to the D is the "highest gear the automatic transmission will go into".
The Acura just gives you a choice, in case you don't want to go into a higher gear (like if it's slippery traction or a steep hill, etc.)

1 means: Manual gear. FIRST GEAR ONLY.
2 means: Manual gear. SECOND GEAR ONLY.
D3 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 3rd gear.
D4 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 4th gear.
D5 means: Use automatic transmission, but engine will never shift above 5th gear.

96 acura tl oil leak on a small fitting by the radiator

That is the transmission cooler in the radiator. Two lines connect to the transmission to circulate the fluid thru the bottom of the radiator. Tighten the fittings
