Hi there,

Here's the easiest way.

Hold down on the Windows Logo button on the keyboard and then press the R key., A command window will open so paste in this line,

C:\Users\User Account Name here\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\

delete the "User Account Name here" between the slashes and put your Username there. Then hit enter and the Cookies folder will pop right open.

Have a good day.

Windows Vista not accessing shared folders on network. It keeps asking to log onto network PC and keeps saying cannot log in when trying accounts on the network pc. Both PC's are on the same workgroup and...

This is a usuall problem when connecting Vista and XP, specially when your vista is a 64-bit and your XP is 32-bit. What you need to do is to manually map the folders on the vista by opening windows explorer and then clicking on Map network drive, you need to put in the exact folder location. Next thing is you need to add user not only activationg the allow access, you need to add the user on the shared folder, you are only using workgroups, unlike domain networks, you just have to give them permission.

Networking Problem

You would have to share that main disk and set all access permissions on, this is comprimising to security though. Here is one way of doing it:

If you want to share folders simply right-click the folder, and choose the Properties option.

Now choose the Advanced Sharing button.

Now you should be able to check the box "Share this folder", and choose a share name, which is easy for you to remember. Now you can see it and access it from anywhere in your network.

Cannot access yahoomail

Hello,

Kindly find below the solution:

How to clear cookies temporarily:
1. Tools > Clear Private Data > Uncheck all but cookies > Clear Private Data Now or
2. Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): “Clear Now” or
3. Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: “Show Cookies” (specific problem sites)

If you have tried those resolves and are still not satisfied, try A different route:

Right click Start Button > Properties > Select Start menu (not classic) > Apply > Ok

Type %APPDATA% into search box at the bottom of the open start menu.

Goto “roaming” > Mozilla > FireFox > Profiles > should only be one folder left to choose.

(or address: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile folder)

Select cookies.sqlite (and cookies.txt if present) > Delete

Have a good day,

Check the user rights on the folder you are making? Also check if that folder is shared or not? Are you logging into both machines with the same username?
I would assign full rights to the username trying to access that particular folder from both pcs. Let me know
Thanks
