Question about Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer

It won't print and i have a code 1203 i have removed the carr many time but nothing

Please 1. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
2. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer.

3. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Error 1203 is a very interesting cartridge error. It means your cartridges overflow even from brand new cartridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the cartridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the cartridge


Solution:
I use the lint free cloth(coffee filter work great) with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the cartridges a couple times then run clean cartridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of lint free cloth(coffee filter work great on those holder contact panel.

The printer read Cartridte error 1203 I am reading the manuel but I do not understand how to fix it to print. I do not have it connected to the computer I just want to make copies.

LEXMARK X5450 CODE 1203 ?


This is a cartridge alignment error. Follow the steps below to fix the problem.

Cartridge Error (1102, 1203, 1204, or 120F)
1 Remove the print cartridges, and close the cartridge carrier lids.
2 Close the scanner unit.
3 Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
4 Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
5 If the button is not lit, press .
6 Reinsert the print cartridges.
If the error does not reappear, the problem has been corrected.
If the problem reappears, one of the cartridges is not working properly. Continue with the following procedure to
determine which cartridge is not working properly.
1 Remove the print cartridges, and close the cartridge carrier lids.
2 Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3 Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
4 If the button is not lit, press .
5 Reinsert the black (or photo) print cartridge.

On the printer screen it say's error #1203


Error code 1203 means the catridges overflow even it is new or after you refilled them.
Solution:
Use tissue with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder.
Before printing anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look.


Be sure not to leave any debris of tissue on those holder contact panel.
To reset the error code, disconnect the power cord from the wall. Also remove the power brick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Then connect everything again.

I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

Dell Printer 926 Error 1203 "Print Head Short"


Error code 1203 means that you have a print head short error. The way to fix this is to:
1) Clean the contacts on the cartridge w/ a damp cloth. Only do it in one direction so that you're not smearing ink all over the contacts!
2) Disconnect and then reconnect the power cord from the wall and from the back of the printer. Wait about 30 seconds, and then plug everything back in.
If this doesn't work, you may need to replace the ink cartridges...you can always try it one more time just to be sure

Error 1203


You can try testing your Printer with another Print Cartridge and if the error message repeats, you should contact Service Center as then there would be a Hardware Problem.
