Hi, The first thing to check is the pressure switch hose. It goes from the pressure switch in the control console down to the airdome on the tub.
If it gets pulled loose, gets a hole in it, or gets clogged with lint or soap scum, the pressure switch will never sense the water level and turn the water valve off.
If the hose is ok, then you probably have a failed pressure switch.

The water drains too fast and overflows

Any washer cannot drain too fast, the problem is in your drainage pipework, there is likely to be a partial blockage or restriction of some kind, it means rodding the pies, or taking it apart to clean it.

Small puddle of water underneath washer when wash cycle was completed.

That could be 1 of a couple things.

1) During the agitate cycle... some water could've made it out of tub.

2) Possible Tub Crack (or overflow line)

3) Check your inlet lines

I would run it again watching it very carefully to determine if any of these are the problem.

Kenmore washer overflows during rinse cycle.

SOME OF THESE MACHINES HAVE TWO PRESSURE SWITCHES IN THEM, ONE FOR THE MAIN WASH WATER LEVEL AND ONE FOR THE RINSE WATER LEVEL. CHECK FOR A PLUGGED AIR PRESSURE HOSE FIRST AND THEN CHECK THE PRESSURE SWITCHES.

Whirlpool washer overflow during wash cycle

What you can try is to get the machine empty and remove the hose that connects the pressure hose to the switch and blow air through it to make sure it is clear, then tap on the nozzle where the hose connects on the switch to make sure it is also clear.
