Question about Philips 42PF7220A 42 in. Plasma Television
The tv will not turn on and has a flashing red light instead of a solid green
Take the tv aparts.Power supply board have these dying leakage gases parts call capacitors.The power supply board,that the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.U know basic's electronic,have tools and know basic soldering?Searches the power supply board,and it supporting boards,look for those dying parts call capacitors it have gases leakages,alway bulges up on tops or puff up on it tops.Replaced these dying to be dead capacitors,the tv power will be stable in ur tv again and work.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
