Question about HP Laserjet 2605 Printer
This could be either data corruption, a damaged sensor or a hardware failure (eitehr the formatter board or the dc controller)
Try an nvram
Try doing a hard or reset or nvram:
1. Turn the printer off
2. Hold down the check or select and the cancel button
3. Reboot the printer while holding the buttons and hold until permanent storage is displayed. Let go of the buttons and wait for the ready message on the display.
If the problem is still there after the nvram you will need to have the printer serviced at a local hp support provider or contact hp for warranty options
