Hi, can advise on the basic procedure in changing

Hi can advise on the basic procedure in changing the micro switch on cdj 100 pioneer decks.where can I source a new one. Also you (dj Ajay) advised that I should change botheven though its only the Track search (backwards) on one deck doesn't work. Any reason why? How do I recognise the micro switch? Thanks for your help

Hi there,
This is a common problem with CD palyers that get a lot of use. Basically, the cd lense is not focussing. You'll find will get worse and then the discs won't be read at all. The unit requires a new laser to be fitted. I would have thought it to cost anything from £50.00 upwards plus labour.

im only spreading the word due it i had my decks fixed their and i am so pleased im telling everyone so they can get the same service i did, rather than paying over the odds at some **** toster repair shop.

My Pioneer CDJ-100 suddenly stopped playing discs. It ejects the disc or it wont start. I managed to force start by fast forwarding the disc but it kept skipping


Hi there, you please let us know your complete problem. Did you get any error message on that time or you insert discs.

Try to open your deck (if you can, otherwise take that to expert one) and remove dirt or any outside particle if, you see.

May be this is disc read error.

Forward switch wont work on one deck and the fast


Yes, you can repair this problem, you have to change micro switch on both decks

no is output level probably is 1.0v need 0,7v output, you need level atenuartor, you may find on audio stores

Cd error and ejecting


There is a problem with the motor that ejects the cd out!you start getting those error because you put mest up cds in your cdj!You need to always make sure there clean and not scrtch too bad specially with old cd decks like the 100!
