After an attempted installation of a new car stereo into my 1990 Toyota Corolla, the clock and the stereo won't work. At first the stereo was working. However, once I secured it into place, I checked...

Did you make sure the harness was plugged securely to the back of the deck? Sometimes if you don't make sure it is snuggly plugged into the back of the deck it can come loose.

Need reset code for honda radio made by matsushita, model 39100-S10-G500. Serial Number 98G19744

Hi, the rest code can be accessed by writing the radio serial number down and call the closest Honda dealership and ask for the service department. More often than not the mechanic who answers the phone can--after you read the serial number--consult a database and within moments give you the correct code.

2002 toyota corolla check light comes on.

If your Check Engine Light comes on, you need to get it checked out as soon as possible. Go to your nearest Auto Parts store and ask if they can scan your OBDII System. It will spit out a code telling you the problem it has encountered. From there, the person from the store can clear the code temporarily and you can look up the code and the action required to fix it.

No sound from my 2005 Corolla speakers

The likely problem is that somehow one of the wires going to the speakers has "grounded out", meaning a wire for some reason is touching the car chassis, therefore shorting out the circuit the same way a lightning rod conducts the lighting into the ground, instead of your home.

A decent car stereo installer should be able to determine the problem. Either it's grounded out, which they can use a meter and connect the probes between ground and each of the 8 speaker wires to determine -or- the radio is faulty, and a new radio can be as cheap as $150, +fit kit, + wiring harness. Don't buy a factory radio replacement because it is a huge rip off and aftermarket ones are much better.
