I am trying to install the upper and lower hinge assembly on a Beverage Air Back Bar Cooler. Any details on how the keep the bottom spring loaded and complete the installation????

3.8L Engine

  1. Drain the engine coolant.
  2. Remove the upper radiator seal.
  3. Remove the upper tie bar.
  4. Disconnect the coolant overflow hose from the radiator.
  5. Plug the coolant overflow hose.
  6. Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses.
  7. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe bracket bolt from the lower tie bar.
  8. Remove the cooling fans.
  9. Slide the plastic cap off the transaxle oil cooler pipe quick connect fittings.
  10. Disconnect the upper and lower transaxle oil cooler pipes from the radiator.
  11. Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts.
  12. Separate the condenser from the radiator.
  13. Lift the radiator up and out of the vehicle.
To install:
  1. Install the radiator to the vehicle. Place the bottom of the radiator in the lower pads.
  2. Install the condenser to the radiator.
  3. Install the A/C condenser mounting bolts and tighten to 115 inch lbs. (13 Nm).
  4. Push the upper and lower transaxle oil cooler pipes into the radiator quick connect fittings, until a "click" is heard.
  5. Tug gently on the cooler pipes to ensure proper retention.
  6. Slide the plastic caps (1) over the quick connect joints.
  7. Install the cooling fans.
  8. Install the transaxle oil cooler pipe bracket bolt to the lower tie bar and tighten to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
  9. Install the upper and lower radiator hoses.
  10. Connect the coolant recovery hose to the radiator neck.
  11. Install the upper tie bar.
  12. Install the upper radiator seal.
  13. Fill the cooling system.
  14. Inspect the transmission oil level.

REMOVE REAR SEAT AND PACKAGE SHELF TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE UPPER SHOCK ATTACHING NUTS.REMOVE UPPER ATTACHING NUTS. RAISE VECHICLE REMOVE REAR WHEEL AND SUPPORT THE LOWER CONTROL ARM WITH A JACK REMOVE LOWER SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING BOLT. REMOVE SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY FROM THE VECHICLE. COMPRESS THE COIL SPRING WITH THE PROPER SPRING COMPRESSOR TOOL. REMOVE CENTER RETAINING NUT HOLDING THE UPPER MOUNTING INSULATOR. NOTE: When adding coolant, it is very important to use GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL® , which is an orange colored, silicate free coolant. If silicated coolant is used on these vehicles, premature engine, heater core and/or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, the engine coolant will require change sooner, at 30,000 miles (50,000km) or 24 months.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Properly drain and recover the coolant in an approved container.
  3. Disconnect the upper transaxle oil cooler line from the radiator and plug the line to avoid contamination.
  4. Detach the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
  5. Disconnect the overflow hose from the radiator.
  6. Support the condenser with some mechanics wire or other suitable device.
  7. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  8. Remove the cooling fan assembly. For details, please refer to the procedure located later in this section.
  9. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
  10. Unfasten the lower transaxle oil cooler line from the radiator.
  11. Remove the front bolt from the suspension support arm.
  12. Loosen the rear suspension support arm bolt and swing the arm down out of the way.
  13. Remove the wire harness retaining clips from the radiator support bar.
  14. Remove the retaining clips on the radiator support bar for the splash shield.
  15. Remove the four bolts on each side for the radiator support bar and remove the support bar.
  16. Have an assistant support the radiator and remove the two radiator-to-condenser bolts, one on each side.
  17. Carefully lower the radiator out the bottom of the vehicle. To install:
  18. Position the radiator assembly into the vehicle.
  19. Have an assistant support the radiator and install the two radiator-to-condenser bolts.
  20. Place the radiator support bar into place and finger-tighten the retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  21. Raise the suspension support arm and attach the front bolt finger-tight. Tighten the rear bolt and then the front bolt to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  22. Attach the wire harness retaining clips onto the radiator support bar.
  23. Install the retaining clips on the radiator support bar for the splash shield.
  24. Fasten the lower transaxle oil cooler line to the radiator.
  25. Connect the lower radiator hose.
  26. Install the cooling fan assembly, as outlined later in this section.
  27. Carefully lower the vehicle.
  28. Remove the condenser support wire or other device.
  29. Fasten the overflow hose to the radiator.
  30. Attach the upper radiator hose.
  31. Fasten the upper transaxle oil cooler line to the radiator.
  32. Connect the negative battery cable.
  33. Fill the cooling system with the proper 50⁄50 mix of DEX-COOL coolant and distilled water.
  34. Bleed the cooling system.

How to remove a radiator from a ford taurus


Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove battery. Remove battery tray. Remove clip retaining contant control relay module and position module aside. Remove radiator cap. Raise vehicle front end as high as possible. Remove radiator splash shield. Drain radiator. Remove the radiator mounting bracket assembly. Remove lower radiator hose. Partially lower vehicle. Remove upper radiator hose. Remove radiator overflow hose. Remove upper A/C condenser core retaining bolts. Remove upper transmission oil cooler tube clips. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube. Raise vehicle. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube clips. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube. Remove transmission oil cooler bracket and position transmission oil cooler aside. Remove lower A/C condenser core bolts and position A/C condenser core aside(be careful not to loosen the AC condenser lines. Remove radiator support bracket. Remove radiator out through the bottom of the vehicle.
Installation
Position radiator. Position radiator support bracket and tighten nuts. Position A/C condenser core and tighten lower A/C condenser core bolts. Position transmission oil cooler tube and install transmission oil cooler tube bracket. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube clips. Install lower radiator hose. Install radiator mounting bracket assembly. Tighten bolts. Install radiator splash shield. Lower vehicle. Install upper tranmission oil cooler tube. Install upper transmission oil cooler tube clips. Install upper A/C condenser core retaining bolts. Tighten bolts. Install radiator overflow hose and tighten clamps securely. Install upper radiator hose. Position constant control relay module and clip securely. Install battery tray. Install battery. Connect battery ground cable. Fill and bleed cooling system. Start engine and inspect for leaks.

How to replace radiator in a 2002 jeep grand cherokee v8


WARINING
Do not remove the cylinder block drain plugs or loosen the radiator drain **** with the system hot and under pressure. Serious burns from coolant can occur.

WARNING When removing the radiator or A/C condenser for any reason, note the location of all radiator- to-body and radiator-to-A/C condenser rubber air seals. These are used at the top, bottom and sides of the radiator and A/C condenser. To prevent overheating, these seals must be installed to their original positions.

Removal & Installation:
  1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
  2. Remove radiator pressure cap.
  3. For access to radiator draincock, remove radiator grill mounting screws and remove grill.
  4. Attach one end of a 24 inch long x 1 / 4 inch ID hose to the radiator petcock Put the other end into a clean container. Open petcock and drain radiator.
  5. Detach power steering fluid reservoir from fan shroud and lay aside.
  6. Disconnect electric cooling fan electrical connector, if equipped
  7. Disconnect CRS hose from radiator filler neck and remove from shroud retaining loops.
  8. Remove the four (4) viscous fan/drive assembly nuts from the water pump pulley and remove fan/drive assy.
  9. Remove the four (4) fan shroud to core support mounting screws.
  10. Remove the electric fan (if equipped) and shroud assembly from the vehicle
  11. Remove radiator upper crossmember.
  12. If equipped with air conditioning, separate radiator from condenser by removing condenser-to-radiator mounting brackets.
  13. Disconnect upper and lower radiator hoses.
  14. If equipped, disconnect and plug automatic transmission fluid cooler lines. Quick Connect Fitting Release Tool 6935 may be needed. If equipped with remote transmission cooler, remove line to cooler from bracket at bottom of radiator
  15. Lift radiator straight up and out of engine compartment taking care not to damage fins.
  16. If radiator is to be replaced, be sure to remove and transfer any components not included with replacement radiator.

To install:
  1. The radiator is supplied with two alignment dowels. They are located on the bottom tank and fit into rubber grommets in the radiator lower crossmember.
  2. Lower radiator into engine compartment. Position alignment dowels into rubber grommets in radiator lower crossmember.
  3. If equipped with air conditioning, attach condenser to radiator with mounting brackets
  4. Install radiator upper crossmember and four mounting bolts.
  5. Install radiator upper crossmember-to-isolator nuts. Tighten nuts to 86 inch lbs. (10 Nm) torque. If isolator-to-radiator nuts had been removed, tighten them to 47 inch lbs. (5 Nm).
  6. Connect radiator upper and lower hoses.
  7. If equipped, connect automatic transmission fluid cooler lines. If equipped with remote cooler, attach cooler line to bracket at bottom of radiator.
  8. Install electric fan (if equipped) and shroud assembly. Insert alignment tabs at bottom of fan shroud into slots in bracket at bottom of radiator. Tighten mounting bolts to 31 inch lbs. (3 Nm).
  9. Connect electric cooling fan electrical connector.
  10. Install power steering reservoir to fan shroud.
  11. Install grill.
  12. Connect battery negative cable.
  13. Fill cooling system with correct coolant.
  14. Install pressure cap.
  15. Check and adjust automatic transmission fluid level (if equipped)
  16. Start engine and visually check for leaks.

Remove and replace rear brake shoes on 2004 honda accord


Brake Shoes Removal & Installation To Remove:
  1. Raise and safely support rear of vehicle.
  2. Remove rear wheel assemblies.
  3. Release parking brake.
  4. Remove brake drum.
Rear brake shoe assembly

  1. Using an appropriate brake spring tool, unhook upper return spring from rearward brake shoe.
  2. Push retainer springs IN and turn to remove tension pins.
  3. Lower brake shoe assembly and remove lower return spring.
  4. Remove brake shoe assembly from back plate.
  5. Disconnect parking brake cable from lever and remove brake shoe.
  6. Remove parking brake lever from brake shoe.

To Install:

  1. Install parking brake lever to rearward brake shoe.
  2. Secure lever to brake show with a NEW U-clip.
  3. Pinch U-clip closed.
  4. Connect parking brake cable to rearward brake shoe.
  5. Install self-adjuster lever spring on front brake shoe.
  6. Assemble clevises, adjuster bolt and upper and lower return springs.
  7. Apply a light coat of grease (Molykote 44MA or equivalent) to sliding surfaces.
  8. Install brake shoe assembly onto back plate.
  9. Install tension springs.
  10. Using an appropriate brake spring tool, unhook upper return spring to rearward brake shoe.
  11. Install brake drum.
  12. Install rear wheel assembly.
  13. Lower vehicle.
  14. Adjust self-adjusting brakes by pressing brake pedal several times.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Spring Rear
Removal
  1. Position a hoist under the rear axle housing, and raise the vehicle. Refer to Section 00-02 . Place jackstands under frame side rails.
  1. Remove rear stabilizer bar as outlined.
  1. Disconnect the lower studs of the two shock absorbers from the mounting brackets on the rear axle assembly .
  1. Unsnap the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit (2A635) from RH upper arm retainer before lowering the rear axle assembly .
  1. Lower the hoist and axle housing until the rear springs are released.
  1. Remove rear spring and rear spring center mounting insulators (5741) from vehicle.

Shock Absorber Removal
Raise the vehicle on a hoist. 1. To assist in removing the upper attachment on shock absorbers using a plastic dust tube, place an open end wrench on the hex stamped into the dust tube's metal cap. For shock absorbers with a steel dust tube, simply grasp the tube to prevent stud rotation when loosening the retaining nut.
  1. Remove the shock absorber retaining nut, washer, and insulator assembly from the stud on the upper side of the frame. Discard nut. Compress the shock absorber to clear the hole in the frame, and remove the inner insulator and washer from the upper retaining stud.
  2. Remove the self-locking retaining nut, and disconnect the shock absorber lower stud from the mounting bracket on the rear axle tube.
  3. Perform Shock Absorber Checks. Refer to Section 04-00 to determine shock absorbers performance.
Installation
  1. Properly prime the new shock absorber . Refer to Section 04-00 , Shock Absorber Checks.
  1. Place the inner washer and rear spring insulator (5536) on the upper retaining stud, and position the shock absorber so that the upper retaining stud enters the hole in the frame. While holding the shock absorber in this position, install a new rear spring insulator , washer and nut assembly on the upper side of the upper frame. Be sure to seat the rear spring insulator in the frame attaching hole. Tighten nut to 34-46 Nm (25-34 lb-ft).
  1. Extend the shock absorber , and place the lower stud in the mounting bracket hole on the rear axle assembly housing. Install a new self-locking retaining nut. Tighten nut to 76.5-103.5 Nm (56-76 lb-ft).
  1. Lower vehicle.

Refer to the illustration in Description and Operation. NOTE: To improve rear axle assembly noise and vibration concerns, the rear suspension should be fastened to the frame and rear axle assembly at the curb height position.
NOTE: If one rear suspension lower arm requires replacement, also replace the opposite rear suspension lower arm .

  1. Mark rear suspension shock absorber relative to protective sleeve with the vehicle in a static, level ground condition.
  1. Remove rear stabilizer bar as outlined.
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist, and place jackstands under the rear axle assembly . Refer to Section 00-02 .
  1. Lower the hoist until the shock absorbers are fully extended to relieve rear spring pressure.
  1. Support rear axle assembly under differential pinion nose as well as under rear axle assembly .
  1. Remove and discard the lower arm pivot bolt and nut from the axle bracket. Then, disengage the rear suspension lower arm from the bracket.
  1. Remove and discard the pivot bolt and nut from the frame bracket, and remove the rear suspension lower arm .

  1. Raise the vehicle, and support the frame side rails with jackstands. Refer to Section 00-02 .
  2. Support the rear axle assembly .
  3. Lower the rear axle assembly , and support the rear axle assembly under differential pinion nose as well as under rear axle assembly .
  4. Unsnap parking brake rear cable and conduit from upper arm retainer.
  5. Remove and discard the nut and bolt retaining the rear suspension arm and bushing to the rear axle assembly housing. Disconnect the rear suspension arm and bushing from the housing.
  6. Remove and discard the nut and bolt that secures the rear suspension arm and bushing to the frame bracket, and remove the rear suspension arm and bushing . If upper arm rear bushing is to be replaced, use Suspension Bushing Service Set T79P-5638-A and Rear Axle Control Arm Bushing Tools T86P-5638-AH and the following procedure:
  7. Place the upper arm rear bushing remover tool in position, and pull bushing out. Using Suspension Bushing Service Set T79P-5638-A install bushing assembly into bushing ear of rear axle assembly.

Removal

Fixing a door


I took other hinge apart.
Removed front glass by removing handle -bar.
Removed upper screws of spring on both sides. loosened two bottom screws of spring assembly.
Removed control panel assembly by taking out 5 screws.
Started with one side hinge first.
Inserted larger arm of lever first then inserted small lever, pressed with small screwdriver to engage a little slot {bottom side} of smaller lever to little stud inside.
With the same screwdriver engaged a little hinge to the notch of larger arm..
Did the same thing for other hinge.
Put the upper screws back,
Tightened bottom screws back.
Put the front glass and handle-bar back.
Put control panel assembly back.
Now it is ready to go.
Door is Fixed.
