Our Garmin 255W Nuvi all of a sudden quit talking all together. As far as I know, the battery is still good as the device makes "other sounds". The langugage is activated to English and the mute feature is not activated. Help?

You might want to try to hard reset the unit by finding the little hole on the bottem, if there is no hole slide the power button and hold it for 15 secounds, this should reset the unit, if this does not wrok you miht want to get a new battery for this unit or have it repaired.

first you want to make sure the voice was not turned off in settings by accident, if nto try hard reset if that does nto wrok battery or repair. So you got all 3 solutions in one here.
