How do I reduce single phase voltage from 250 vac to 208 vac? I measured the voltage coming from the power company and I have 125 volts on each hot leg of the circuit. The mixer will stop after only 2 or...

Your mixer is 208vac? If it is 120vac and you are trying to run it on 250 I'm supprised you haven't burned it up. If indeed it is a commercial mixer with a 220vac motor I don't believe the difference is a problem. There may be a problem of ground. Some of our machines (if new) are so demanding of every thing being just right, it may detect there is no ground and shuts down as a result.

Code ee 5 on sharp microwave model rcd 2200m

It may be that the voltage selector on the back of the oven is not set to the proper level of your AC supply.

It will probably have settings for 208VAC or 230VAC.

Chances are your oven is set to 208VAC but it is on a 230VAC line.

Refer to your owner's manual for specific details.

Wich is the power supply 120v, 208 1 phasse or 208v 3 phase.

Most Baxter BXA ovens have separate power supplies, usually 120v for the controls and lights, a 120v output on a circuit breaker for the roof fan, and a 208VAC 3 phase supply for your convection motor. Older Baxter ovens may have a 3 phase service disconnect inside the electrical/burner compartment, if I recall correctly the BXA models do not and the only way to shut it off is via the 3 pole breaker at the service panel.

This tv has 110-245v do i need a converter to make it turn on toshiba model # 329p8m

that tv has minimum-110 to 245 max, the power supply shoud be switched mode. there for any voltage from 110-245 it can work without problems.
check if your voltage is above 245v, buy a transformer of 110 output, to be on the safe place on your tv.
but if the voltage is within, no need to modify.
okey

Change 208v heating elements to 240v.

If your supplying 240 vac to a 208 vac element it will work but shorten the life of it.Goto 3wire.com and register, they should have a 208vac element. The wild leg could also be an issue but if you get a 208 vac element it shouldnt hurt it that much. Why you would be getting a reading of 240 vac on l1-l2-l1-l3-l2-l3 is strange.Let me know.

Wrong voltage rating

Hello. If the unit is rated 460v, 3phase, the only way you can get it to meet your supply of 208v, 3phase, is:
a) have a transformer installed to make 460 from your supply by an electrician, or call your power company and see if 460 could be supplied to your building, but it would only be for that machine.
or
b) replace the heating elements for the 208v supply, have the pump motor checked to see if it will work on 208v, and a control transformer for the control circuit, as well as all the wiring related to the pump and heaters, as on 208v, they will draw more current than on 460.
so, can it be done? yes. Is the expense worth it? only you can answer that, However I would suggest that you resell that machine, and get the correct one from the start.

Hope that helps, and thank you.

Power fault

If a fuse is blowing It means there is a short circuit inside the TV set. I suggest to check the Horizontal output transistor first and the diodes or voltage regulator around the power supply.
