This Link seems to provide the best thorough approach to getting those drivers installed & working.
However, someone claims, on this forum page(last post on the page) that all you need to do is use the "windows online driver search" function, and it will handle all of the messy work of locating, downloading & installing.
Take out the battery and then try the different ac adaptors. If you still get no lights on the laptop then the motherboard is bad and would need to be replaced. Just make sure that you know at least one of your ac adaptors are good.
If the adaptors have lights and they turn on then you know the ac adaptor your working with is good. Also make sure they are plugged into a good working outlet.
Any time I need a power cord I go to Ebay. Here is one for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/AC-Adapter-for-HP-Pavilion-DV4000-ZE2000-ZE4900-ZT3000_W0QQitemZ330298334850QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item330298334850&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1307|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50
