I had the same problem with my Roma 100 and I nearly started to take it apart to replace the thermal fuse which seems to be a common problem. However I noticed that several people mentioned the clock and the fan oven were linked (probably so the automatic cooking can work). The 'A' had been flashing on the cooker for a little while and I hadn't adjusted the clock since the clocks changed I turned off the cooker at the mains then set the clock to the correct time. The 'A' was no longer flashing and the fan oven now works!!

Check for voltage at the element, could be a hi-limit thermostat or a failure at the control board.... You may find you are missing one leg (half) of the 240VAC required to power the elements

Have a electric cooker model nut grb6cvk no heat from main oven everything else working

Oven heater element has died. Get the serial numbers etc off the plate on the back or the handbook, go online to appliance spares sites and see if they carry an element. If you don't know how, get a good DIYer or appliance tech to change it. You could get them to check the element for continuity first?

SMEG OVEN BRAND NEW WON'T HEAT

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  • Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  • If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  • When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

ISOLATE THE MAINS BEFORE OPENING ANY PANEL
Remove the rear panel, there is a component with two terminals screwed to the chassis, read whats on it, take a note of the letters and numbers, get a replacement, from a local electrical store, or www.whitegoods.co.uk you will need the model and serial number, this component stops the cooker from over heating, the elements have to be controlled, the second cause is fan running too slow, if the fan does not cause enogh pressure the element will over heat.
Hope this has been helpful

Having problems with fan assisted oven on leisure roma 100 cooker, it doesnt seem to work everything else seems to work fine, Can anyone help me

Often these fan assisted type ovens have a safety that keeps th fan off if it believes the door is open. Look for uneven door closing or cracks in the door to frame closure. Is this a commercial convection oven?
