MY FISHER & PAYKEL WASHER STOPPED AFTER RINSE WHEN I WASHED BATH RUGS THAT FELL APART. IT WON'T DRAIN AND MAKES A WHINING NOISE WEN ADVANCED TO SPIN CYCLE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Your pump is blocked with the bits from your wash. A handyman may be able to service the pump, but it would be a quick job for a tech. The pump us accessed from under the machine and can be inclipped like a light bulb. Inspect carefully first. look for small latch clip before twisting. Make sure the machine has been bailed out first. lean the machine back againt the wall to give access and to keep what little water remains, away from the drain/pump hole. Good luck....Nomess
