Question about Kenwood Food Processors
Why is smoke coming from my food mixer Kenwood chef A901
Check the speed controller on the bottom of motor there are some small capacitors that smoke when they fail. there still available from dealers that support older kenwoods, see dealer direcrory at kenwood .co.uk.

Sounds to me like you may have burnt up the motor probaby by mixing to heavy of a load or running it too long, or by just being older. I would replace it as fixing it would be costly
