Ok so the first thing that you need to do is unplug it for at least three minutes, then plug it back in to the wall and power it on make ssure it turns on and take out the current disk, put another disk in and see if it plays that it might be the disk sensors

The Game your playing is probably a Blue colored media. That is ones that spin so fast. You console has become dusty and loaded with lint probably. You can open the case and clean up the insides. Also while your in there, remove the ocver and polish up the lasers lens. This will probably get you back in business.
