Can i install graphic card on Acer Aspire 5738Z??

No because the graphics card/chip is built-in on the motherboard. The graphics card uses shared RAM and you maybe able to increase the amount of video RAM in the BIOS setting but this will reduce the main RAM by the same amount.

aakifshamsi,

Looking at the System Summary page,

http://universaleventz.com/sys.html

1) Scroll down the list, and look under the heading - Memory Summary
The Maximum TOTAL Amount of ram memory that the motherboard will support is 2GB.
2048MB.
(1024MB = 1GB)

This is also supported by the fact that the motherboard uses an Intel 845GL motherboard chipset.
(i845GL. The i stands for Intel)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets#Pentium_4_chipsets

Looking at the chart in the above link scroll down to 845GL.
Read across to the right, and observe the headings across the top.
Look under the heading - Max.memory
2GB.

The motherboard chipset consists of the Northbridge chip, and the Southbridge chip.

(This applies to a motherboard like yours.
Motherboards that support the Intel Core i3, i5, i7, and i9 processors do Not use this older technology)

Motherboard diagram;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of a computer.
It handles the Processor, Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics.
High-speed graphics being AGP and PCI Express.

A graphics card installed into a PCI slot is Not high-speed graphics. (PCI graphics card)
Integrated Graphics, (OnBoard) is Not high-speed graphics.

The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of the computer.

1) Anything plugged into a PCI slot.
2) Integrated Graphics.
3) IDE or SATA. (Harddrive/s and/or optical drives)
4) USB ports
5) Ethernet port
,and so on.

By knowing what motherboard chipset you have, you have a wealth of information about your motherboard.

As for hooking up a 1TB harddrive internally, yes.
Hook it up as a Slave drive.

Information on adding a second harddrive as a Slave drive,

How many MB or GB graphic built in intel DH55TC mother board? i mean to say how many graphic are built in intel DH55TC mother board?

The motherboard has a built-in graphics card and it uses shared RAM. It uses part of the main RAM memory and the main computer memory is reduced by the amount of RAM the graphics card grabs.
You can limit the amount of RAM the graphics card used by configuring the graphics RAM in the BIOS configuration.

I need to purchase one. How do I go about doing this?

Hello and welcome to fixya.

First of all you need to mention why you have to buy only one motherboard and not any other parts of a computer.
Questions that need to be answered on this matter are as below:

(A) Are you replacing an old/broken motherboard on your computer? -> If so please replace with the same model or one from a similar range of models as this would eliminate any further hardware compatibility issues, especially for old motherboard brands or discontinued brands.

(B) Are you upgrading your hardware of your computer to support more RAM, more hard disk drives, better graphics card or RAID? -> If so please check according to the other peripherals you intend to install (GFX card or amount of RAM or Hard Disks that you have in mind installing) and based on that information order the most appropriate motherboard model.
If you intend to do RAID, many higher Gigabyte motherboard models or ASUS will do the trick. Same goes for graphics cards or if you intend to install dual graphics cards (via SLi technology).
Also, RAM and CPU types are important to buying a new motherboard, please see more for Motherboard CPU sockets, chipsets. As for memory check if it is dual or single channel and check what type is your RAM DDR2 or DDR3 and at what frequency (MHz) they operate.

(C) Do you have some spare parts only and looking to just change a motherboard to setup a new pc from the beginning? -> If that is the case, then you should be looking for lower-end brands like Foxconn, Superchip, Acer etc. These might be also compatible with older hardware and do what you need them to do, but of medium quality.

Overall there are couple of software that can help you gather information about your current system configuration:

1 - CPUZ RAM, CPU, Chipset information etc..
2 - HWMonitor RAM Detailed information (Voltage types etc..)

Please let me know if this is enough to get you started or need more information.

**PLEASE RATE THIS SOLUTION ACCORDINGLY!**

Regards, FixYa.

Thanks.

How to solve my 3D graphic since my RAM was 4G... sometimes my laptop lag when i playing latest games... should i buy a graphic card for it or any suggestion how to boost my 3D perfomance...

For most laptops, you cannot replace/upgrade the graphics adapter ("video card").

Nor can you replace/upgrade the CPU.

How much RAM in your laptop?
Buy more, to "maximize" the amount of RAM that your motherboard will support.

Why does Toshiba satellite a10-S177 have 1gb ram limit? Motherboard? BIOS? Or just that 1GB SODIMMs weren't invented yet?

Motherboard

More specifically the motherboard chipset.

The motherboard chipset is the Northbridge chip, and the Southbridge chip.
{In reference to the motherboard chipset technology used for this laptop}

Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of a computer.

The Northbridge chip determines what Processors can be used, what Ram Memory can be used, (Plus the amount), and High-speed graphics.

AGP and PCI Express being High-speed graphics.

A graphics card inserted into a PCI expansion slot is not High-speed graphics.
Neither is Integrated Graphics.

The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of a computer.

{CPU = Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short}

Jeff, some of the system's ram memory is being borrowed. If you are using Integrated Graphics, this is where it is going.

[Integrated Graphics is also known as OnBoard Graphics.
On the motherBoard.

The GPU is soldered to the motherboard. (Hence you plug the monitor cable into the motherboard, via a VGA connector,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector )

A dedicated graphics (adapter) card has it's own GPU.
(Graphics Processing Unit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU ]

Integrated Graphics uses some of the system's resources. The Processor, and Ram Memory.

A dedicated graphics card has it's own Processor, and Ram Memory.
(GPU, and graphics ram memory)

PC2100 is DDR Sdram that operates at a frequency rate of 266MHz.

PC2700 is DDR Sdram that operates at a frequency rate of 333MHz.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR_SDRAM

[Frequency Rate:
Proper 'computer speak' for Speed.
'Speed' is slang.

DDR Sdram:
Double Data Rate Sdram
Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory

MHz.
MegaHertz
Mega = Approximately 1 Million
Hertz stands for Cycles per Second.

PC2100 can operate Up To a frequency rate of 266 Million Cycles per Second.
PC2700 - 333 Million Cycles per Second ]

No, using PC2100 is going backwards, and will not help increase the Amount of ram memory, seen by the computer.

According to eMachines Support, the T2642 desktop computer's motherboard, uses an Intel 845GV motherboard chipset.

[Chipset, and Chip are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit.

The motherboard chipset used for the technology of the T2642 motherboard, is the Northbridge, and Southbridge chipset.

(Motherboard's for the Intel Core i3, i5, and i7, do not use this motherboard chipset technology)

The Northbridge chip handles the faster processes of the computer.
The Processor, Ram Memory, and high speed graphics.

High speed graphics being AGP, or PCI Express.
Not a graphics card inserted into a PCI slot.

Integrated Graphics, or a graphics card inserted into a PCI slot, is a slower process of the computer.

Slower processes of the computer are handled by the Southbridge chip.
