Question about Dell Dimension 9100 PC Desktop
I have a dell dimension 9100 and was trying to remove malware/virus that could only be removed in safe mode. A site explained the msconfig command and that you could force the computer to open in safe mode that way.
Problem now is that apparently the safe mode is corrupted or blocked and the PC won't boot in any safe mode method and now it won't boot in normal mode either since I changed the msconfig settings. I have a CD with an ISO file that is supposed to allow the PC to boot off of the CD drive but that hasn't worked either. I went into the setup and moved the CD/DVD-ROM drive to the #1 slot on boot up and all I keep getting is the floppy disk error message even though there is no floppy drive on my PC. Is there anything else I can try to do? Thanks!
