Hi...Before trying to take it apart, you should verify that the paddle in the bread pan is moving or not. Take the pan out of the machine and try to turn the paddle by hand. It should turn free and smooth with little effort. If you can't turn it by hand then the bearing is frozen and the bread pan needs to be replaced. (no fix for it).

If the paddle moves freely, then the belt in the bottom of the unit is loose or broken. Reply to this thread and we'll help you out!

Holmes twin window fan.One of the blades doesnt move after i sprayed it with the garden hose to clean it.

Never wash any electrical appliance by getting it wet or hosing it down. It is likely shorted out completely and will need to be replaced.

If you ever need to wash a fan, the propper way to do so is to unplug it, then use a screw driver to open the housing, be carefull not to lose any of the screws. Hold each blade, one at a time and use your hand to turn the hub screw (center piece of the fan blade) and remove it, then slide the blade off. The hub screws on fans is most often threaded in the reverse direction of what you would expect, the best way to tell which way to turn would be to keep in mind that they need to turn in the same direction that the fan blades would turn if the fan were running. Then the fan blades themselves can be washed with water and dish soap, but allow to fully dry before puting them back on to the fan.
Never allow any of the motors, wires or switches to get wet.

I have a sunbeam 1387 warm mist humidifier. I need to know how to clean scale from the filter. It looks like it can be taken apart. Can it?

Actually, Carol, it shouldn't be necessary to take the unit apart. Mix a 50/50 solution of White Distilled Vinegar and Bottled Distilled Water (enough to fill the tank). Pour the solution in and allow it to sit overnight. Then empty the solution and fill the tank with Bottled Distilled Water. Turn the unit ON and allow it to run for 1 hour. Then empty any remaining Distilled Water. Doing all the aforementioned, should have not only cleaned the filter, but also the unit itself. If you use Bottled Distilled Water in the future, rater than tap water, the filter and the plumbing of the unit will stay clean longer and will require less maintenance.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

How do you take the door apart so that you can clean the glass? We have taken out the 3 screws, but it will not come apart.

i just replaced the glass on a jenn air slide in, remove screw on each side, inside the door, near the hinge, lift door off hinges, remove 3 screws on bottom of door. Trim holding glass should now come off. Remember, hinges are spring loaded.

We have a Sunbeam 2591 stand mixer that won't work. How do we take it apart? No screws?

Gently pry the front cover off to expose the only two screws holding the mixer together.

How to use a SUNBEAM twin window fan with

Intake brings the air outside into your room, exhaust pushes the air inside your room out.

What setting you use depends on your personal taste of temperatures and the temperature inside vs outside. If you set the thermostat to 72 degrees and it is more than that outside then I would use the exhaust setting. If you set it to 72 degrees, and it is 68 outside but 84 inside then I would set it onto intake to cool the inside air.

Installation of fan

Not knowing if you have ever taken one apart, start by laying the screen all the way back(flat) and then remove strip with power button. you have to start on the right side where there is a small notch. then remove 4 screws for keyboard. DON'T DROP THEM INSIDE CASE! remove 1 screw for shield. Then 4 screws hold down heat sink/fan assy. remember to disconnect power lead for fan. Installation is reverse. Be sure to use thermal grease between cpu and heat sink assy.

Marvin Box Fan Cleaning

It has six phillips-head screws around the perimeter. Loosen all six screws and the halves separate. Be careful loosening the screw that holds the motor in place - I ended up stripping the head. If you can use a vice grip to get it started, that may help.
