First check if a pair of headphones works if notmake sure ur speakers have power going to them make sure speakers are plugged into the the right audio output (usually light green color in the back of ur computer) check (if ur using a PC) in control panel-sound settings, if your sound card is ENABLED. you can also go to control panel-device manager, and look for an yellow exclamation points(if you see one next to, lets say sound card, it will mean that you need to download drivers for your sound card) if ur computer is dell then go to www.dell.com and look for support option, drivers, etc. any other brand PC, just find it on google, go to manufacturer's website and follow the same format...support....drivers. hope this helps

My insignia speakers want work with my hp computer i need software to download them

speakers do not need any kind of software to work, it's a problem with your computer.

You should try to update your sound drivers, and plug the speakers into the right sockets (green). make sure to set your sound card to the main sound output device.

Idont have any sound from my laptop...i cant here any sounds when i am playing a music...please help me

hi,, ok this can be a major problem or a very simple one.. you might just have the volume down or muted.. two the buttom right of the screen there should be a speaker icon ,, if not move on to solution 2 ..

1.) double click the icon,, remove the mute and turn the volume lever way up..

solution 2..
click start, right click computer ,, then click properties,, click HARDWARE / DEVICE MANAGER

look for something highlighted in yellow ,, if so you have a driver crash,, if not go to solution 3 and try that and if it fails then continue from here..

go to toshiba's web site,, support / downloads ,, download and install your audio drivers..

solution 3
click start ,, all programs ,, accessories,, system tools system restore.. restore your pc to a time when it was working..

For VGA driver visit manufacturers web site, and download the driver.
For sound follow the steps below.

2. Select your audio device, check the properties
3. Check if its disabled. if not then upgrade or reinstall the driver.
4. If not working then check master volume control, if its mute by mistake.
5. If still not working, put external speakers and check if sound is comming.
6. still sound is coming then need to check & change your laptop speaker.
7. If still no sound, then need to check your motherboard.

Only 2 speakers working

You probably need to re-install the drivers. If a disc came with the speakers insert it and go through the install. Other look on your speakers for the exact model number then go to the Logitech web site. Look under support or drivers and software. Find your speakers and download and install the last drivers for your speakers.

My subwoofer sound is distorted

whatever player are you using must be having Equalizer in it...try adjusting that [keep that down to a minimum]. Check the program for your audio device...some programs have sound options like jazz, rock, pop these are predefined equalizer changing these could also help. Try using a different media player like VLC [it's free to download on the web] Try uninstalling the audio driver and then reinstalling the driver. It is quite possible that your speaker doesn't match with the Laptop's amplifier or the speaker is gone kaput [a coil problem or something needs repair...but do not repair rather buy a good speaker coz repairing loses the quality].

Centre Speaker No Sound

i can think of two things., you may need to do the update on your sound card and computer and make sure you have the correct codec's installed or also you may need to go to the web site of the makers of your logitech speakers and see if they have a common solution for this problem...... i also wonder if you should bypass the sound card and directly connect your speaker system to the out put port on your computer ..... give it a try what can it hurt .... if all else fails maybe there is a faulty wire in the speaker system ....... ahy ?

Get a cable two male ends. Look for the female end on your screen. Put one male end into the port on on your screen and the other end into the port "AUDIO ONE" on your computer.

Try this it should work. The Multi-PIN cable is only for VIDEO, you need another cable for AUDIO.
