Question about Jenn-Air JCD2389G Side by Side Refrigerator
The yolk on the ice maker does not eject ice. If I remove the ice collector I can manually turn the yolk until it comes off. I can turn it counter clockwise until it seems tight but then after just a moment of turning it will loosen again. I bought a new yolk but it worked for maybe a week after that and then began to do the same thing. It seems that the shaft that holds the yolk may be stripped but I have not removed it to check. I was thinking that I could remove the motor and then manually use a metal epoxy to permanently attach the yolk to the shaft but I don't want to do something that will cost more money in the future. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
