Question about Fujitsu Office Equipment & Supplies
Fujitsu stopped producing drivers for their fi-4220C2 scanner as per Vista. They do not intend to produce Windows 7 drivers.
Since I'm pretty fond of my fi-4220C2 I want to know how and where can I get/buy it?
thanks for your attention.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Fujitsu 5120C Scanner
There are a Fujitsu TWAIN driver and a ISIS driver for the fi-5120C under Win7. Scroll down the list here to the section fi-5220C and fi-5120C:

You can connect the scanner to a Linux Saned Server and access it ac a network device from any Windows. I recomend the use of a sheevaplug device for that purpose.
To access a "sane" device from Windows, use www.xsane.org. For Java progs there are several libraries available - eg "morena" or "jsane" or "JSane-net" (hosted on sourceforge).
