Could be the pulley that the belt goes under where it connects to the motor or a roller is bad,you have to pull the drum and check out the pulley and the rollers,most likely it's the pulley

The roller head may be turning, but something could be rubbing and causing the belt to slip slightly. I'd remove the belt and beater bar and look for foreign material that is stuck
take off the belt . clean any hair from brush roller make sure movement smooth . re position belt and move by hand to make sure roller is not skew , , rubber is riding sideways and causing friction .
You have an out of alignment belt run across the pulleys of the engine, this causes the belt to make noise as it rubs on the edge. Many times this is causes by the crankshaft vibration damper coming part and the pulley walking outward.
No the belt should should not rub on anything. Go to a ford dealership and ask the parts counter guy for a diagram of the belt routing they should print you off a copy no problem. all the ones i go to are happy to assist
Squeaking noises are NOT necessarily an indication of bearing failure - but could be an indication of a slipping belt or something else rubbing. The machine itself may be rubbing against a washer, wall, door jamb, or anything really.
Look around the machine. See if it is in contact - or close to ant of these things. When it is running - it could be bumping against something. If nothing is found - have a look inside the the dryer. Inspect the belt and clean the drum where the belt tracks. Repl;ace the belt it is ready to break, missing parts or de-laminating. If you find shiny metal filings - that indicates metal is rubbing somewhere and is likely to be the cause of the squeak.
The belt tensioner roller has a flat spot caused by a worn bearing that catches and stops whilet the drum is turning. This causes the flat spot and the noise its making. You can purchase a new roller by itself and do change the belt the same time too
It probably is a belt. You should look under the hood and check for a loose belt. Tighten as necessary. You should not be able to deflect the belt more than 1/2" in the center of the span of the belt.
Brakes will also make a screeching noise when they are worn out. This noise will also go away when you stop (of course). The sound is quite different than the belt sound.
Has the bike been lowered? If so, this decreases the clearance at the top side of the belt where it goes behind the inner primary cover. Also there may be a belt guard rubbing somewhere. Remove the belt guards and use a flashlight to look for something rubbing.
