The default language for you keyboard settings from windows is UK -English. You need to change it into US English.

It seems like your keyboard and mice need some driver to work with some extra function. The best way is to donwload the specified driver from manufacturer`s website and install it to make all things function properly.

I have a key board which have a card ****..i do not know what is its function and how is this key board may use and what is te function of this card **** which card may be insert and plz guide me in...

You need an SD Card that is 1GB or smaller. Once you insert the card, it will ask you to format. The card can save 256 midi-files only.

The SD Card can be used to save/load songs, midi-files to/from the limited 4K keyboard memory.
If you have IDES driver & software, the software can load/save midi-files to/from the SD CARD to computer hard disk too.

My secretary was using my computer and now I can't get the "insert" key or the numbers pad to work. I have a dell wireless keyboard. When I bought a Dell laptop several years ago I had to...

Welcome to FixYa.

As a standard troubleshooting for wireless devices please do the following:
  • Restart your computer.
  • Open note pad and test your keyboard.
  • See if the keyboard functions properly.
  • Open MS word and test your keyboard.
  • See if it functions properly.

Tell me the results in Notepad and MS Word so that I can determine if it's the macro in MS Word that turns the INSERT and NUMPAD key off.

Asus netbook type letters it put numbers

This issue is due to you having activated the "Number Lock" function of your keyboard !

To revert to full keybaord function:

Press Fn+NumLock. The numLock shares it's key with Insert

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and I can't type anything I changed the batteries and its acting like it has no power, nothing is working on the key board but the mouse is working. Thanks Tate

1) make sure your batteries are inserted correctly
2) make sure when you insert the USB sending unit into a port that the USB port is working
3) press the connect button on the sending unit and also the connect buttons on the bottom of the keyboard and mouse.
3) make sure in the system setup that USB is enabled.

I have no insert key in my logitech keyboard. how to use the insert function

> no insert key

Every keyboard has an INSERT key. Look harder. Look on the "keypad" -- is there a label 'INS' on the same key that is labelled as '0' ("zero") ?

I hit some key and now when I try to insert letters between words instead of inserting it gobbles up the letters ahead of it.

You did not say which program you were using, but in most cases the "Insert" key on your keyboard toggles between the Insert and Overwrite functions of the software. Pressing the Insert key again shoudl fix your problem.

F keys suddenly not working

The "F mode" button toggles on and off the F keys. If you press it (accidentally) as I did, the keys will no longer function.

Simply press the "F mode" key again (it is directly above the "End->" key between F12 and Insert on this model keyboard) and functionality will be restored.

Insert or over-type feature

I have the Microsoft Comfort Keyboard and it has a "F lock" key. This key has to be set on "Off" to let it know that I want to use the Print Screen function versus the Insert function on the same key. May be your keyboard is the same way.
