1) Check all the pins on the VGA cable.
2) Try it on another PC to narrow the problem.

YELLOW COLOUR IS DOMINATING

If its a Philips or a Samsung/Akai projection set it likely is contaminated Glycol causing this.

On those sets turn color off to zero or go to black and white program--if screen is mostly or all yellow Glycol is the issue---the other expert is correct that a model number and brand are needed to help you.

Shaking yellow screen

Well a yellow screen means that you have a bad capacitor inside of the console.

Have a vx2035wm model no. vs11435 keeps going off then you have to turn it off and back on to get screen back is there a fix

Could be puffy capacitors that are causing the monitor to shut down. Only way to know would be to open up the monitor and see if you find any. If you do then make sure you replace them with capacitors with the same UF value, voltage can be the same or higher.

The other thing to do to verify if its a monitor problem or video card problem, try another known working monitor on the computer and if the monitor stays on then you know its a problem with the original monitor, if the replacement monitor doesn't stay on then you know its a video card problem.

I have a VX2035 that will not stay on. The power

Hello,

It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of he monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and -connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $45 plus shipping. If your problem is not the capacitors then it would be the backlights and that is much more difficult to replace.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
