We have it in stock for $45. But I would check a few things before assuming it is the heating element. A thermal fuse or cut out could cause the same symptoms and they are a lot less money. Here is a couple links that should help

The one on the gas dryer walks you thru disassembling and also how to check the other fuses. Also your element should read between 9-13 ohms if it is good.

GE dryer dwsr463eg7ww timer isn't working and doesnt heat up

The heating element assembly warms the air before the air enters the dryer drum. If the dryer won't stop, it may be because the heating element assembly isn't working - which greatly increases the drying time. Check the heating element for continuity. http://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dryer/7-3-850356-/GE-Dryer-won-t-stop-DWSR463EG7WW

Be sure to check for lint inside the filter housing and also vent blockage. 240 volts is going into the dryer. The motor runs on 120 so you might have a voltage problem. Heating element needs 240 volts. here is my video let me know if this helps:

My Kenmore Elite 110.62932100 won't tumble or heat up.

try the homes 240volt circuit breaker it may not show its tripped but one of the 2 phases can trip out, (just reset the breaker) and if this happens either the dryer drum motor will turn or the timer will run, but not both as these 2 components each use 1 of the 2 phases 120 volts to run,but the heating element needs both 120volt phases for 240volts for the heating element to heat, this is what your issue sounds like to me,hope this helps

My maytag lde8824ace dryer has stopped heating. i replaced the heat element assembly about an hour ago and still no heat. vents and ducting are clear. dryer run as normal. was wondering if it was a...

The heating circuit is composed not just by the heating element alone but also the high-limit thermostat located on the heating element housing including the four-terminal cycling thermostat on the blower housing and the motor centrifugal switch. The most prudent thing to do first when a heating problem is experienced is by checking the continuity of these parts and making sure the dryer is getting 220VAC supply. Note that the dryer works both on 110VAC for the controls and drive motor while the 220VAC is solely for the heating circuit. The 110VAC supply may be present which will make the dryer run but the 220VAC may not be present and consequently there's no heat at all.

Check the circuit breaker including the power outlet and make sure the dryer is being supplied with 220VAC. Check the continuity of the components located on the blower housing and the heating element housing. All of those components must have continuity for the heating element to turn on. Note that the cycling thermostat has four terminals. Continuity check must be done between the two outer and "thick" terminals. Replace the part found to have no continuity and as a preventive measure, it is necessary to also replace the other part that comes side-by-side with the faulty part.

My Maytag dryer Model MGE2400AYW is not heating. It runs fine but it is not heating and I was wondering if you knew what it might be. I was told it is probably the heating element but am not sure.

First, try resetting the breakers for the dryer in the house electrical panel--push off, then on. If no help, then the problem is likely internal to the dryer. Suspect the heating element or thermostat that controls the heater. Good luck!

Dishwasher won't run. Replaced door latch and timer/selector unit. Into this POS for over 200 bucks right now, with nil result. Any other ideas? Clean light comes on so power is getting through it.

If it's KitchenAid or Whirlpool or Kenmore, and your clean light BLINKS and the heating element inside is ROUND - there is a problem with your control board and the element. There is a kit containing both, for the price of the heating element alone.
This might be the part you need

Kenmore, softheat will run but wont dry

If the dryer is not heating or not heating at a high enough level, it may be caused by a faulty thermal fuse or a heating element that is burned or partially burned out. Both components can easily be tested with an ohm meter or multimeter for continuity. If there is no continuity, then the component is defective. The thermal fuse is usually located on or near the exhaust duct just inside the back the dryer. The heating element will be obvious when you see it. Sure hope this helps ya and best wishes.

The heating element measures 10 Ohms at 68 degrees farenheit. Usually if the element is bad, it will measure infinity.
