Copper line needs to be brazed, system needs to be evacuated, and recharged. Contact refrigeration tech if not qualified.

It can probably be soldered ... then recharged. Seek help from your professional RV repair shop.

How do you fix the detached spot welds on the track connectors?

If these are copper, the "spot welds" will be soldered connections.
Get a soldering gun, solder, soldering paste, and some copper wire. Practice joining bits of copper until you can do it quikly and without overheating the adjacent area. Then clean up the broken contacts and apply your new skill! Ta Da!!!!

We have a Carrier 25HBA unit and we've noticed a frost build up on the outside compressor, my husband turned the unit off and cleaned everything outside and up in the attic. It worked. No frost...

Hello
Frost or ice on the bigger outside copper line is a indicatin of possible low freon.Hopfully that is all it is.

It is also a possibility the compressor is getting ready to break, bad valves.

You will need a tech to come out and charge the system with freon.

Check your filter is clean and new first.

How to add freon to a Haier hwr10xc6 Thru-Wall/Window Air? i accidentally damaged one of the copper lines & all the freon came out but i welded it back together put how to at it & where? help!

If the unit has no existing service valves you will have to purchase some - and braze them into the freon lines. Valves (with valve cores) can be purchased at a AC Supply house fairly cheaply and then you can braze them into the lines. One in the suction (big line that gets cold) and one in the liquid line (the one that gets warm). NOTE: be sure NOT to weld this into the 'discharge line' (one straight out of compressor).
Once you have the two valves welded into the unit - you can then charge the unit.
Good Luck!

Where do I find the reset button for the RHEEM 13 seer

If it is a condenser or outdoor unit heatpump you will have to take the cover off of the compressor section. There should be a high pressure reset that may be a manual reset located on the smaller copper line that leads to the compressor. If it is not here, some Rheem units locate the high pressure switch on the outside of the unit near the copper lines are welded to the unit. It will be just a button to push in.

I have a Goodman home A/C unit and the copper line coming into the house freezes up. The unit continues to run with no cold air. I was told it is either dirty or low on Freon. Are they correct? If it is...

Hello
If you have ice on bigger copper line and no cooling then the unit is low in freon.

As far as cleaning it,you should clean the outside condenser in the spring.Use some simple green and a hose to clean the coils, this will make it better for the heat to transfer to the outside and cut your costs of running the unit down.

No you can not do freon yourself you need to be cfc certified now, which means you can not buy freon.Best to have a service person come out.

My wine ref, is not cooling, i can hear it running but it just dont cool. this is the everstar wine refergerator Model number HDBC361D

I HAVE ONE OF THESE COOLERS I HAVE REPAIRED MY UNIT BY CAREFULLY PULLING OUT EACH EVAP COIL AND SANDING THE RUSTY AREA AROUND THE SOLDER CONNECTIONS AND SOLDERING THEM WITH A PROPANE TORCH GLAZING THE LINES WITH SILVER SOLDER AND FLUX. THEN AROUND ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT IT HAS 2 VALVES THAT CONTROL THE FREON GAS FLOW/ CUT THE COPPER LINES THAT GO TO THE 2 VALVES AND CAREFULLY BEND THE TUBING AND RESOLDER THE TWO LINES BACK TOGETHER WITH A HOMEMADE COPPER TUBING , BY ROLLING COPPER AROUND A SCREWDRIVER FASHIONING A TUBE TO CONNECT THE PIPES TOGETHER, RESOLDER THE PIPES SO THE FREON WILL NOW FLOW FREELY INTO EACH COIL. THEN RECHARGE THE UNIT WITH A CAN OF PAG 1 OUNCE OIL AND 2 OUNCES OF FREON 134A. RUN UNIT TEST FOR LEAKS WITH A SPAY BOTTLE AND SOAP WATER. YOU CAN OBTAIN A SADDLE VALVE FOR RECHARGING REFRIGERATORS AND INSTALL IT ON THE COMPRESSOR TUBE THAT IS COMING OUT OF THE COMPRESSOR AND IS WELDED SHUT BY FACTORY WHEN BUILT. CHAR4GE THE UNIT WITH 3.75 OUNCES OF 134A AND 1 OUNCE OF PAG OIL TO REPLENISH COMPRESSOR OIL FROM DISCHARGEING UNIT! REPAIR AS DIRECTED AND BOTH SIDES WILL REACH A 36 DEGREES. THE UNIT WILL NOW COOL TO 36 AND SHUT OFF BOTH SIDES ARE NOW WORKING AS 1 UNIT AND COOLING EFFICENTLY. THE VALVES GET STUCK AND WONT ALLOW FREON TO PASS THEN 1 VALVE LEAKS AND THE OTHER WONT OPEN. How do I remove the oil reservoir to clean it?

hello,

We had same issue. My husband just unscrewed and removed the metal plate from the bottom of the unit looking for a solution.

The reservoir cannot be removed. The heating coil is permanently attached (welded?) to the bottom of the reservoir.
It is obvious, now, that the reservoir is not intended to be removed.

Ignore the statements in manual that say the oil reservoir is oven safe and not to remove it until it's cool. They do not apply to this model

thanks.

Hello, My condensing unit (LG-LMU245HV) and my wall unit (LG-LMN185HV) are brand new and were installed just one month ago. Everything has been running fine but now all of a sudden now the air coming...

Hi, when the copper lines at the condensing unit, the larger of the 2- start to form ice, you have a freon leak. The unit is new, so I would expect the leak to be at one of the welded/brazed joints. What will happen, is the indoor unit, the evaporator coil will start to ice over and block off all air flow through through the coil. I hate to tell you this, you will need to call the installer out to do a leak check on the unit. They will then need to pump it down, braze the leak with sil-phos, or silver solder and recharge the unit. This is the problem, I see this a lot on new units. Someone forgot to do a leak check on it. Being only a month old, it has to have a warranty on it, shouldn't cost you a dime, but this is the problem, indeed!! Please keep me updated on this and get them out there. It will never cool until they fix the leak and recharge it. Please don't forget to rate me on this, I know you will be kind. Keep me posted and you can contact me by my user name below. Thank you Zeke! You still have freon in the unit, just low enough to start the suction line outside to start to ice and loose your cooling.
Sincerely,
