It is a memory problem. Verify if they are plugged in the mainboard slot.

The problem could be with the mother board. It is difficult to pin point the problem without checking Power supply, RAM and motherboard. Before going to any conclusion first disconnect everything from the Motherboard. i.e front usb connectors, front audio connectors, hard disk, cd/dvd drive and floppy drive (if there is one), cmos battery, keyboard and mouse. Now start the system. If there is no difference check with another power supply. Also clean the cpu fan if it is choked with dust.

When looking for a motherboard it may be difficult to get the same type. U may buy a board which supports core 2 duo processor and DDR II RAM. Your machine may be having DDR II RAM. Also boards are available which supports core 2 duo and DDR III Ram. That's all.

After i change the processor dual core 1.80ghz on the IBM thinkcentre M 55e 9632 series the monitor only showing, cpu=1processors detected, cores per processors=2 intel pentium dual cpu 2160 1.80ghz 1527...

HI,
I am sharing some general info:-
If you are change processor no problem, some point see you like after change processor any beep sound, processor more hitting.
Second check it *********** board power come or not, your display cheap more hitting or not. Check RAM proper connect, your all cable proper connection. If all things ok then may be your PC not supported processor.

Thanks..

Laptop doesnt boot when multi core processing is enabled

By multi core I assume you mean when enabling all of the true processor cores. In your laptop's case it's a Dual Core processor which means there are only 2 phyiscal cores and does not contain HyperThreading Technology (HT Technology) which enables "Virtual processor cores"

Could be caused by a couple of things:

1. Your processor doesn't support multi-core processing which is a possibility given there is no HT technology for your CPU. In which case there is nothing to fix. Even though the BIOS may have this option. You can check to see if both cores are enabled when you have multi-core processing disabled; In windows right click on your taskbar and click on "Task Manager" Click on the performance tab. You will want to count the number of processor displays you see. Refer to this to see what I mean:

The reason I have 8 CPU displays is because I'm running an i7-3820 CPU which supports HT Technology; So I have 4 physical processors cores and 4 virtual processors cores (created by HT Technology architecture)

2. You are running Core2Duo CPU with dual physical processors and have disabled 1 of the 2 cores because your laptop won't boot. This sounds more like you need to update the BIOS on the motherboard or maybe a bad CPU might be the cause as well.

Hope this helps.

CPU fan & PSU fan working but No display coming to the screen

There should be some sort of beeps then. No beeps is an indication the CPU or RAM is not seated properly. You need to refer to board manual if there are beeps.
There is also the matter of... Never mind I just noticed the CPU is an 8 core CPU, but the board supports quad core.

No display even after the system boots

You either have a dead CPU or a dead motherboard or a partially-dead power-supply -- the power-supply should supply different voltages to different computers, i.e., one voltage to spin fans, and a different voltage to power the RAM, and a different voltage to power the motherboard. So, it can be "partially" dead.

Borrow a power-supply, and try that first.
If all else fails, take the computer to a qualified technician.

No display

Hi,
Beep codes are usualy heard when there is a problem with either your display card or your RAM.

Your problem could possibly be a faulty CPU.
Does your CPU work in another board, or can you try another CPU in your board?
