Where can I get parts?

I got from friend a Velbon Victory 550 tripod. The handle that prevent the head from tilting is missing, and so is a piece of plastic that apparently held the rod upon which the head of the tripod is placed from shaking.

thank you

SOURCE: 533-50 kitchen faucet leaks above base mount at

There are O rings that seal the various body parts of this faucet. I would try turning off the supply lines, removing the handle, and unscrewing the faucet and the housings. Look for O rings that seal each part. Could be a broken, or maybe some foreign material has gotten in the O ring grooves. Best bet would be to replace any O rings and tighten it all back securely. It should not have any Up and Down play, should only swivel side to side. I'm thinking O rings. While there, you can replace the seat seals and springs, so that you preclude any leaks from the faucet itself. Lowes, Home Depot, carry the repair kits for these faucets at a reasonable price. And they usually include the allen wrench and wrench to remove the handle and the body parts. And they are relatively inexpensive. Around 4 to 6 dollars. Its an easy fix.

The "wedge" of the plastic lever wears, so you need to replace the lever or build up that section of the lever. Some cyanoacrylate (Super Glue / Krazy Glue) and a piece of a zip tie will work.

The front door handle lacks tension and the door won't open from the outside. However, the door will open from the inside.

I just bought a 96 transport with that same problem on both front doors they would open from the inside but not the outside. They have a design flaw, basically when you pull the handle it pushes a piece that pivots and in turn pushes a linkage rod downward that actuates the door latch, well that pivot point is the weak spot, the pin that it hinges on is too small and will break, (I found the pivot piece and the linkage rod laying in the bottom of the door)
If you pull the door panel off their are 2 nuts holding the door handle on, take those off and the door handle will come off, the pivot pin is on then inside of the door handle, what I did was to drill a hole and put a small self tapping screw in to replace the pivot pin, and hold the pivot piece and linkage in place then put it all back through the door handle hole in the door, and set the linkage down in it's hole in the door latch assembly. The screw I used was not exactly the same size as the original pin was so the pivot piece had some play in it and did not quite push the down far enough to unlatch the door so I put two small nuts to act as washers on the bottom of the linkage rod so it would push down a little more, now it works like a charm, on the other door the linkage rod had just come out of it's hole in the door latch assembly, all I had to do was pull the inside door handle, which lowered the door latch piece and guided the rod back into its hole as I released the inside door handle and now it works too, took about an hour for both doors, a fairly easy fix, hope this helps.

I have john deer sabre 18 horse i have a snow blade but cant get on right

My name is Dane and I'll try to help you with your problem. I have given you the basic instructions here for mounting most john deere snow blades.

Here is a link to the parts diagram for the blade too.

You need to remove the mower deck from the machine, and you may have to remove the front bumper as well.

First, install the mounting brackets on the tractor. Align the holes in each mounting bracket with the holes in the tractor frame. Install using the kit that comes with the mounting bracket. Don't tighten this yet.

Next you should install the pivot support. Insert the pins on the right and left hitch plates into the notches on the mounting brackets. Install the pins and tighten the screws on those mounting brackets now.

Next you should Install the blade. Align the holes in the pivot support with the second holes from the end of the push channel assembly. Insert the channel pin and washer and secure with the spring locking pin.

Install the lift handle. Slide the lift handle rod into the end hole in the push channel assembly. Insert the lift link pin in the pivot support bracket into the lift handle rod. Add the washers and locking pin.

Now, Iistall the blade pivot rod. Either end of the blade pivot rod goes through the blade pivot shaft. The other end goes through the lift handle tube. Secure both ends with locking pins.

Lubricate the lift handle rods and pivot points.

Install the rear tire chains and wheel weights.

I hope I've helped. If you found this information useful, please leave feedback as deserved. Thanks! Dane

Vibrates and beater hits bottom of bowl

Try adjusting the height of the head by turning screw #36 counterclockwise a turn or so. This will raise the mixing head so the beaters no longer hit the bottom of the bowl. Refer to parts list:

If the pivot pin #18 is not centered and secured then center the pin and turn the mixer on its side to tighten screw #31 from underneath the mixer to secure the pivot pin.

Mixer head is loose beater scrapes bottom of bowl makes loud thumping noise

I assume you mean that the top half of the mixer, above the pivot pin, moves with respect to the lower half of the mixer, the stand part. There is a pin on which the top half pivots which becomes loose.

Turn the mixer over and look up where the pin goes through the two pieces. There is a screw there which secures the pin. Tap the pin into position and tighten the screw.

How do you replace Hoover Handle Release Pedal on

The handle pedal is snapped in to the base, where it pivots.
The pedal needs to be pried away fron the base, exposing the pivot pin to release it for removal. On your model, you will likelly have to remove the lower handle from the base (where it pivots) to get room to release and replace the pedal.

Good night please how can I change brake from my car saturn 1997 fron will

Front Disc Brakes
See Figures 1 through 8
Always replace the brake pads in sets, meaning BOTH front wheels.
  1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it safely using jackstands, then remove the front wheels.
  2. Remove the lower caliper lock pin.

The Saturn brake pad replacement procedure states that after removing the lower caliper pin, you can simply pivot the caliper to a vertical position in order to remove the brake pads. This procedure, when attempted on a 1992 SC with ABS, looked as if it would place excessive stress on the brake line. No changes in steering position seemed to alleviate this tension, so a full pivot for pad removal was not attempted. Another option is to remove the upper caliper pin, but not the lower pin, and simply pivot the caliper down for possible access. However, to prevent damage to the brake line you may wish to remove both guide pins and support the caliper assembly from the strut using a coat hanger or length of wire.
  1. Pivot the caliper up or down on either guide pin or remove both guide pins and support the caliper from the strut using a coat hanger or length of wire.
  2. Remove the 2 brake pads and the pad clips from the caliper support Discard the old pad clips.
  3. Check the caliper pins, pin boots and the piston boot for deterioration or damage.

To install:
  1. Either by hand or using a C-clamp, bottom the piston all the way into the caliper bore.
  2. Carefully lift the inner edge of the piston boot by hand to release any trapped air.
  3. Install new pad clips into the caliper support.
  4. Install the inner and outer brake pads into the support. If installed, remove the temporary support wire from the caliper.
  5. Pivot or position the caliper body on the upper guide pin into position. Compress the boots by hand as the caliper is positioned onto the support.
  6. Lubricate the smooth ends of the lock and guide pins with silicone grease, then install the pin and tighten to 27 ft. lbs. (36 Nm). Do not get grease on the pin threads.
  7. Repeat the procedure for the opposite side brake pads.

My mixer is very hard to raise and lower with the handle

tilt head? Loosen the pivot bolt and if you have help, remove and clean the bolt and with some teeny , not too teeney, brush or whateverm clean the pivot bolt holes. Especially the one in the head. With everything nice and clean, find somehigh temp wheel brg grease and lightly coat the pivot bolt. Without assembling, run the bolt through all the holes while rotating to transfer some grease into and onto them . .Like the way the bolt moves now? Good, Put the head in place aligning yhe pivot bolt holes rotating the bolt as you push it in place . Snug down the pivot bolt just enough to keep it in place . If you over tighten it you can break off one of the hole ears on the base. So, since you would see the bolt coming out if it did so choose, DON'T OVER TIGHTEN ;) hAPPY BLENDING- tHE PIVOT BOLT IS STATINARY IN THE STAND AND THE MIXER HEAAD PIVOTS ON THE BOLT.
