They dont sell them as a secutity measure, otherwise the theif that stole the unit out of a car could just buy a new front plate. You could try ebay, but i think kenwoods are coded to the units. Kenwood will replace units if you have purchase paperwork but you can get a 4024 for about £30 on ebay.

I just purchased a used motorhome that has a Kenwood KDC-MPV7019/MPV619 receiver. The previous owner did not provide the security code for the unit. How can I reset the code?

You will have to contact the previous owner to get the code otherwise you will have to buy a new stereo. There is a possibilty of being able to contact kenwood they might be able to reset it but it costs about 60 dollars to do so. I'm sorry..

Where can I get the tools required to remove a kenwood kdc x679. The system was already installed in the car when I bought it and it didn't know with the removal tools mentioned in the manual.

at walmart you can buy a stereo removal kit for the tabs on the side of the stereo
or you can use a very thin flat tip screw driver and push it in the side while you try to pull out on the stereo

Hi, I would like to install my kenwood kdc-w7534u into my mini one, how can I do it, can you help please?

To install your kenwood, you will need to first remove your stock radio. To do this, I believe there is a screw you can get at from the glove box. As well, there should be trim around the radio itself. Pry into that, and pull as hard as you can. It should pull off the trim-- from there, you should be able to remove the original radio.
While putting in your new head unit, make sure you have the right wiring harness. With this, you can plug existing wires into the new receiver. From there, all you need to do is make sure all of the previously installed wires are installed in the new unit correctly, then secure the unit and replace the trim.
Voila, you're done!

We have purchased a KENWOOD KDC-MP4026V in the year 2005 for my Indica Car. As of today somebody had stolen the front key panel. We want it. How it could be get? Where it will get? and what will be the...

The front plate is the most expencive part on cad cd player because all the expensive electronic and dispay is on it. I think that it costs allmost as a new complete cd player. Even if you manage to find another plate you would still have second hand player. My recomendatio is to just buy another cd player.

maybe the flexible ribbon cable between the face plate and the unit itself is broken and needs to be replaced. check partstore.com for part if you can do the repair.
