With the CLS-215 speakers, you can Bi-Amp or Bi-Wire them.

Here is how to Bi-Wire and Bi-Amp Speakers:

I have 4 speakers one pair of speakers are 150w and the other pair of speakers are 120w could someone tell me what speakers are louder because I don't know ?? my amp is 100w?

There are too many factors and variables to consider when it comes to speakers. Yet, the general rule is the lower wattage speakers will be louder than the higher wattage speakers because they require less power to drive them.
Then the other things to consider is the actual construction of the speaker and if they are mounted just on a surface in a car or whether they are mounted in an enclosure.
Then I don't have enough information about the amp. Is it set up as a four channel amp, or are you going to run the speakers in series or parallel front to back? Personally I would add a second amp so there is an amp for each pair of speakers. You can purchase all sorts of extras at car audio stores such as faders between the two amps, or a crossover device with performance controls such as bass, midrange, and treble.
Yet, if you are determined to stick with what you have, and your amp is only two channel, then run your speakers in parallel going first to the high watt speakers.

I have a Behringer nu4-6000 amp that I am trying to connect Peavey 215 speakers (2-1/4 inputs). How do you connect the 4-pole cable that is bi-amping from d Behringer speakon, 1/4 only uses 2 cables.

I can't give you a definite answer but I suspect the Peavey speakers with their four wires require a different sort of amplifier.to the conventional type.

You will be aware in lots of speaker enclosures are one or two drive units and a tweeter. Ensuring the right frequency of signal goes to the right speaker will be a filter or crossover which is also housed in the enclosure. This has been the common way to deliver a good sound forever.

There has been a fashion for delivering a good sound differently by placing the filter network or crossover in the pre-amp stages and then delivering the different frequency signals to two, three or more power amplifiers, each one designed to amplify a particular frequency range and in this way fewer compromises are made to the purity of the resulting sound. Each amplifier would have an output through a pair of wires destined for the drive unit is was designed for.

Two and three rack amplifiers have been a very popular way of delivering sound in cinemas, in particular a powerful bass. I haven't personally been involved with such an amplifier but I remember the magazine Wireless World publishing a series of articles about the system and the instructions for building one.

These are just my thoughts on the matter and your next step would be to examine the internal wiring of your speakers to be sure.

Amps turn off and cut out

You just gotta get your gains set up right. Look Up "How To Set your Gains with a Multimeter" your over powering your subs or speakers and your amplifiers cant keep up. you also have to make sure your speakers are wired to the right ohms. your amp cant handle. if your amp cant handle, for Example:1 Ohms your gonna blow your amps. ......Speakers and subs are a science too.

What is the actual watts per channel @ 8-ohms and 4-ohms on the Behringer PMP3000?

Those specs would be right - I have this same board but the amp was fried by a previous owner. I pulled the amp board out and tossed it and use the mixer now to drive an external amp. Great board. This amp is rated at 1200W "peak", bridged into an 8ohm load. That would equate to about 900W RMS bridged into 8ohm or 450 per side into 4ohm loads per side. You can't daisy chain all 4 speakers....impedance would be too low. You can run two of your 8ohm speakers per side - that results in a 4ohm load per side for the amp. That would give you amp delivery of 450W per side. Your speakers are rated to handle more than that so you're fine. For the record.....you could run one speaker per side no problem....just lower power output.

How to fit 2 more additional speakers to a standard 2 speaker stereo system each speaker has only 2 wires + & - , is there a anything avalible to branch the 4 existing wires to 8 wires .

You'll either double or half the ohm load if you do this. If you double the ohm load, you'll half the volume. If you half the ohm load, unless your receiver is rated for that load (very unlikely), you'll overdrive the amp and blow it.

Look on the back of the receiver. It will tell you what ohm load it's rated for. Usually, it's 8 ohms. If you are using 8 ohm speakers (virtually all home speakers), putting more than one speaker on a channel will kill the poor thing.

If you want more speakers, add another amp, or get a receiver capable of running the number of speakers you want.

What is the best amplifier to use to drive the cerwin vega cls 215 speakers?

optix422000,
Use a "real" amp, not a receiver as your CV's need real power to perform the best. Check the following links for some choices. I use the first as it's a monster for low-end.

When playing on high volume the treble dissapear. I have a 2.6kw Cerwin amp. And Clsc 215 speakers. No bi- wire on my speakers. When I lower the volume the treble returnes. What is wrong???

Sounds like your overpowering the horns and the circuit breaker is tripping to prevent them from blowing. You are running more power then they can handle. You can turn down the volume or will have to purchase higher wattage horns...

I have 2 15 compvr how do u hook the 2-&da2+ in da back of the speakers.

it depends on the amp your using and the impedence of the coils.(ohms) for general purposes lets say that you amp is designed to run 500 watts bridged mono into a 4 ohm load. Lets also say that your subs have dual 4 ohm coils on them. To achieve the 4 ohm load you would want to run the coils in series on each sub, meaning that one of the positives is going to connect to the negative on the sub the remaining + and - terminals are what you will connect your speaker wire to. you just turned your dual 4 ohm coil sub into a 8 ohm single coil speaker. Do the same thing to the other sub and now you have a pair of 8 ohm subs with a set of wires coming from each. Now parallel those sets of wires together( + and +) and (- and -) and run that to your amp. This will give you a 4 0hm load at the amp

Jenson touch screen head unit is all hooked up properly in a 2001 honda civic if i turn it up to around 25 with loud off and bass down it will shut off for a few seconds and then turn back on and repeat...

the onboard amp in the deck can't keep up and overheats inturn shutting off the speakers , this is common in jensen touchscreens esp the 9412 9512 and the uv 8 best thing to do is buy a 4 channel amp and the problem will be solved sometimes running a bigger constant power wire to the deck will help a little but not much better off buying a 4 ch amp
