My parents had a cassablanca fan that utilized a three button remote and if I am not mistaken to reverse the direction you held down two of the buttons at the same time for approx 3 seconds and the fan would make a different beeping sound than it does normally when changing fan speeds and bingo it changes direction. It should work, all fans work basically the same . Good Luck

Turn the fan off. Locate the reversing switch. It is on the base of the fan near the fan speed and light switches. if its not on the remote control. have a good day !!
If it does not have a revesing fan switch and its older, You may have to physically(with fan stopped)
Push blade in from end and twist blade for reverse air.

Fan has a switch for winter and summer. Is it up or down for summer?

This is probably a reversing switch changing the rotation direction. Check the air flow from the fan to find if it is pulling air up or pushing it down. Pushing down from the ceiling will be the 'winter' setting, pulling up, the summer. Since warm air gathers at the ceiling, it is beneficial to have it move that air downward during cold weather and have it pull up cooler air from the floor in summer. I frankly don't notice much difference though.

Can not find directions to reverse fan rotation for summer

it should be a simple slide switch on the side of the housing that moves up and down to change the direction of rotation of the fan motor and blades. look at the manual that came with the fan to make sure it has this feature but i personally have never seen a fan without one.

How to reverse air flow for summer

There should be a small switch on the side of the fan body for reversing the direction. If this is remote control only then that is where to look for this feature ,,

How do I reverse the direction of the fan blades to counter-clockwise on the fan? The fan is a Hampton Bay ''Clarington'' with a remote control.

There is a small black switch on the switch housing directly under the blades. When the fan is completely off, move the switch to the opposite direction.

Reversing direction on remote controlled fan

There is no switch. Put the fan on high then hit the reverse button. Your fan should stop, reverse and you'll bet all set.

Controller moving in the oppisite direction

You're holding the controller with the black part facing toward your TV, right?

Also make sure there are strong light sources in the same direction as your TV. This can sometimes confuse the Wii remote.
