Remove 3 screws from the bottom front panel and drop it down. The pump will be in front of you on the bottom.

There should be a 3 inch by 8 inch cover on the right rear of the top of the dryer. Open the lid, grab the handle and pull the long wire mesh filter out. Clean off the lint and reinsert, curved side down.

This Sears top load washer, manufactured by Frigidaire, does not have a filter like some machines. This is quite normal on many machines. Model 79629002000 KENMORE ELITE WASHING MACHINE Parts

My kenmore elite dryer that i bought 2 years ago lint trap corner is catching my clothes and tearing them. we had it replaced and its doing it again. I am tired of messing with it. Please help.

don't know if you already had this fixed, usually this is caused by not having your dryer cleaned out,the lint builds up inside the duct that the lint filter slides down into and has to be removed and cleaned out.also in some of the kenmore dryer ducts there's a metal clip inside the duct that can come loose and hold the lint filter up.these are the two most likely causes for this to happen.

My Kenmore dryer model HE3, 11084836201, will allow me to select the drying cycle, but it will not start. Once I press the start button, it clicks but will not start. Please help!

This problem is commonly caused by a blown thermal fuse located on the blower housing behind the bottom panel. Remove the bottom panel then the lint duct and check continuity of the thermal fuse. You can also bypass the thermal fuse for troubleshooting purposes. Check for blocked lint filter and restricted vent system if the thermal fuse is indeed blown then replace it including the thermistor.
