Hello,
The free versions was only for 60 days (trial)
One thing you can do is to download open office which is free office program that you can use.
Or if you want you can purchase from microsoft.
Cheers

Product key for microsoft office and student 2007

If you brought Microsoft Office from a retailer it should come with the product key on the back of the CD Sleeve or if you downloaded it after purchasing it, they normally will send you an email with your product key. But if you just lost it and need it recovered without this information is another thing.

I bought my notebook 2months ago.. is this supposed to come with free microsoft office? it says it just need to be activated and i need a product key but the product key appear to be incorrect,, what...

Hi,

Microsoft Office is not necessarily included when you buy a laptop. Sometimes, they gave you just the trial version. Maybe that's the reason why you cannot activate it.

To be sure, try asking someone form where you buy that laptop if the MS Office that comes with it is a licensed version.

Hope it helps.

Thanks!

I just bought toshiba laptop c650-18f microsoft office 2007 need product key. pls help me.

Usually a trial version of 2007 is given with every laptop after the trial period 2007 asks for product key. you have to buy the key from microsoft, or other partners selling the product or you can uninstall the product and use another version you already have.

Our microsoft office has expired how can i download a new microsoft office?

Hello!

If your copy of Microsoft Office has expired it means that you have a trial version copy, its useless if you download it again (MS Office trial version) because it won't let you install the second time around. The best thing you can do is to buy a licensed/genuine copy of MS Office or if you want an alternative way---you can use another application or a free version that can open or compatible with MS Office files, try OPEN OFFICE---it's free.

Hope I was able to help.

I had a similar problem in that I first had a trial version, and then after the trial had expires, I bought a newer version. But the expired trial version security would not let the new version run, even though I had uninstalled the old trial version. I finally gave up and switch to OpenOffice, for free, and took back the copy of MS Office I had purchased.

Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop and a trial version of Microsoft Office Professional. My trial is over and I am a student in desperate need of a product key. Are you able to help me with one?

Hi:
Unfortunately, the trial version is just that: A free trial, and if you like it,you have to purchase it. Often the student version is available for sale for around $90 or so, but if you can't afford that right now, a good substitute is to download a very nice , free office suite from : www.openoffice.org

Not only is it legal and free, it is compatible with Microsoft Office.

Give it a try!

After a year with this computer i have never used MS Office Home/Student 2007 but now i wana type a paper and i dont have a key for it

If this came with your computer it is probably a trial version. You will have to purchase the real thing. If you bought MS Office you should find the key in the packet. You can also download a free office from www.openoffice.org, which is quite a good system.

Asking for product key

Unfortunately most places only sell their laptop with Trial Versions of the software. If your laptop was advertised with the full version and you do not have your product key, go back to your retailer and tell them you did not receive your key. 9 nine chances out of ten thought, it was only a trial version that came with your system and you will have to purchase a key to get it legally. The thing with the trial version is that your are only able to create/edit up to 25 documents, after that you can only view them. That being said, if you have a document that you are working on, you should be able to copy it from word into another word processor such as wordpad.
