Freezing webcam image

I would try other Nvidia drivers, maybe revert to an earlier driver. Don't get Nvidia drivers from MS Update, go to the Nvidia site to find drivers and suggestions.

update the drivers and video graphics card, also you may need to upgrade to higher memory, do a windows update

yes try reinstalling it and also putting it in a different USB slot, and if you lost the software its on this page.

Normal 0 How much memory do you have installed in your computer? It may need to be, increased, as this is likely to be the cause of your computer freezing, rebooting, or shutting down.

Instead of plugging the webcam in after the computer is running, I plugged in while it was shut down. The first time the computer booted with the webcam attached it took approximatly 2 minutes longer to boot, but every boot after has been as fast as ever. Webcam works great now!

It is not the web cam or the computer why it freezes. It is the internet connection using in the philippines. the upload stream is too slow thats it lags the image. It could also be caused by the computer memory. But most of the time it is the connection. Be sure that when he/ she is using the webcam, shes not doing other things on the internet like downloading or browsing.

try updating yahoo messenger and updating the drivers for your webcam
