If the player itself works OK, then it's most likely a damaged USB cable or port that is the casue.

Eclipse cld mp3 player

How old is the unit? Before the problem started, how were you using it? Would you charge it up, listen for an hour or two, and then charge it back up, or would you let the battery drain further?

My Eclipse Mp3 Player Wont Play

1) There's a difference between "support" and play directly of video mp3 player.
2) It's not just about the format, but also screen size and resolution.

You need to run the music through the converter tool that is on the player itself (like a portable dirve, look into it's directories) or as a small CD that came in the player's kit.

I am not familiar with your model, but most can sync with Windows media player. (Connect it first) then If you open media player and click the sync tab on the right side, you can add tracks to your device and then click sync when you are ready.

One of my young adult sons who has mp3 player and all kinds of other electronic gadgets put songs on it last night, played beautifully, I was thrilled, we charged it and today all I have on the screen is...

Sounds like a crappy mp3 player unfortunately :( Check out these Amazon reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Machspeed-ECLIPSE-180PL4GB-Eclipse-180PL-4GB/dp/B003FVCAV8 I would make sure to not upset your son but return it and look for a better one through a site such as http://www.newegg.com where you can read reviews prior to purchase.

I can't even figure out how to charge my Eclipse 4 gb portable media player. Can't figure out how to find an online manual. And I CAN'T EVEN FIND THEIR WEBSITE. thanks for your help. -James

Your MP3 player is charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to the player and then connecting it to a computer's USB port. The computer will see this as an external storage device.

I just got an eclipse 8gb media player but I cant figure out how to put music from limewire or itunes on to it.

Dude, first of all putting music on any device straight from Limewire is completely illegal. Second, it only supports Windows Media Player version 10 or up.

I cannot charge it (USB car charger) and listen to the music at the same time

don't think it's possible. -when you charge and play via your laptop, the player is acting as a USB key and the laptop is doing the playing. -when you charge it via your in-car port you do not have a 2nd device on which to play tunes. it's either charge or play i'm afraid
