Hi...

please connect your flash drive to your computer and it wil automatically installs the driver for that flash drive,it shows 'installing driver' and finally it wil come as 'device installed and ready to use'. You can start using the flash drive.

if this doesnt happens follow the below steps,

1.Insert the CD and it automatically starts to install the software.
2. please click on NEXT to install the driver software and click on FINISH to complete the installation.

when you complete the installation you can start using your flash drive.

thanx

SOURCE: I formatted my 4GB TDK

there is an overhead for the space on a drive, the system needs a File Allocation Table and other administrative information, so the total 4 GB is usually not 100% available. It would not work properly without this "administrative" space.

Hi. I have a 4GB TDK usb device and it is showing memory full with only 12 MB used. Please help.

Hi,
Save what ever is on the flash drive. Go to 'My Computer' and right click on the pen drive icon. Select 'Format', un-check quick format option and click OK. Acknowledge the warning about loosing data.
That should do it.
