Question about Vizio L42HDTV 42 in. LCD Television
The problem started a few years ago; Turn on the TV and it would shortly turn it's self off you would turn it on again and it would come on.
This afternoon we tried playing a movie on the dvd player and changed the
input then the tv turned off and was unable to turn on for no more than a few secounds. Is it worth taken it to a Tv repairman and is common problem? Is it something I might be able to fix my self I do have some electronic back ground. Thanks Chuck
Check the power supply DC filter caps first and check the voltages also. Repair shop will charge you $150 and up.
