Locate the SAP or MTS feature by TV remote button or TV Audio Menu. It needs set to STEREO. SAP or Second Audio Production is not used by every broadcaster. In those cases, you will have no SAP audio on the channel. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

I am having similar issues. I have sound on some channels, not all. The commercials on the channels without sound have sound. Some of the channels have no voices, but I get the background music. It was working fine one day and the next day, no sound. It appears the sleep mode went out also.....

When i connect a usb to my hisense 40 inch led tv i can get picture quality on a bluray movie but i am not getting sound it prompts the audio not supported

You have to Check the audio format of the Movie or video that you downloaded and saveg in that usb drive. It can be multi channel like Dolby digital or DTS. if so Your tv wont decode it. Normally the USB in tv only support stereo (Two channel PCM audio).

Hisense 42inch lcd tv

It sounds like it's the inverter panel which lites the lcd back light.
If it's under warranty, try to replace it, or take it in for svc.

Loss of sound

you can try changing the assigned channel.you should have to put the second T V on a certain channel like channel 72 or 68 or something like that.on the main reveiver you should go into the menu and poke around in the setting until you see a REMOTE ADDRESS option walk through the steps and change the channel that the second TV receives its picture on, you should shoot for channel 62-72.also make sure the hisense is set to a cable input.you can go into the menu on the hisense and go to your settings and change this .it will be on CABLE or ANTENNA.try switching those around.also did you have sound before coming out of the coax output on the hisense? if your not sure then plug a vcr into and make sure the TV is working with different equipment.GOOD LUCK!
