Hi tina, sound like you are missing a preamp or mixer part to your setup. What brand is the equipment please, I will try to find the exact model of what you require.

OR you could just plug a preamp in line...

regards
Graeme

Not really enough info in your post to give to give a simple answer. But you can trouble-shoot your own system. Are you sure the preamp isn't on mute or set to a mode that is blocking audio. If in doubt, run the test tones for speaker setup.

How to set up for bandit 75

What do you by setup for? Are you looking for certain settings to get a certain sound? I'd do a search for the player's name + amp settings. I would try the tone controls first if I was trying to tailor the sound. Try to adjust treble bass, midrange, and try with the volume down and the tone controls all the way up and reduce from there.

I need to know how to hook up Sony amplifier ta-ax 295,Sony tuner st-jx 295, sony cassette tc-w295 with a RCA 5 disc CD player and a Samsung DVD/ video CD/CD player in stereo. It always worked when my...

There are a number of amplifiers in the TA series, but the connections are basically the same.
In your system, the amplifier serves as master control. How do you know? Look for the component that offers input selection -tuner, cassette, CD, video, phono and probably auxiliary. Every other component plugs into and is controlled by the integrated amplifier. For example, plug the tuner wires from the tuner output to the amplifier input marked "Tuner." To use the tuner, just select that input from the front panel. Same with all the other components.

On the back of that unit will a bunch of RCA jacks for left and right channels. Take the hook-up wires, usually RCA cables with colored plugs on each end, and connect the OUTPUT jacks on each separate component to the INPUT jacks on the amp. Power may also be controlled from the amp. On audio plugs, red is right and white is left. Keep the polarity constant as you connect each component. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker outputs, usually spring clips or screw terminals on the amplifier end and the same on each speaker. The DVD video cable will have three wires: Yellow, red and white. Yellow is always video. It may also have a little round video connector for S-VHS which provides a much better picture when using DVD.
Select your desired input and enjoy the show. Service Manual free download schematics datasheets eeprom bins pcb...

I NEED TO LOCATE AND PURCHASE THE REMOTE CONTROL MISSING FROM THE YAMAHA RX-V3675 SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM I JUST PURCHASED.

Too many digits in the model number. TYPE C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y when using model numbers.

Try http://remotes.com/store/codes_original.html.
They also sell replacement remotes.

eBay: search for "(model) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

I would contact Sherwood as Transformers are deemed to be safety components and should be replaced with excat parts or those recommended by the maker.

Spilt water on top of it smoked came out heard a pop now it doesn't work can it be fixed or is it done for?

CAn it be fixex? Yes. Will it be worth the repair cost? Unknown. Depending upon what components fried when the water shorted out the circuit will determine the repair cost. If you can update this with the model number, perhaps I can guide you further based upon the likely parts required to resolve this.

Please supplyu the model number.

Thanks,
Dan

The power turns on but there is no sound.i have it

This unit is most likely in protect mode. A problem with the last output stage was detected and is preventing the unit from turning on completely. Normally this is a failure of the output transistors in one or more channels. Without testing some of the components inside the unit, I can not say for sure. I would suggest that you bring this unit to a service shop for a detailed repair estimate. Post the results here and we can help you to perform the actual repair. Expect this estimate to cost around $50.

I Need a power suply

These units don't have a separate "power suppy" per se. There is a power transformer and a separate board that contains the standby power supply components. The main power supply components are on the main board.

Rather than looking for a "power supply", what is the problem with the unit? Is there a standby light?
