Question about Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Computer with Intel Duo Core 15.4 Inch PC Notebook

1 Answer

I have a Macintosh. When I tried to plug in speakers the hole for the plug wasn't deep enough. Pushed it in harder and got the speakers to work. When I unplugged them my computer no longer had sound without the speakers.

The audio-out jack on the MacBook Pro is a dual-purpose jack: it works with both electrical and optical connectors. (You may occasionally notice a red light leaking out the port—that is the optical circuit.) Because of its construction, it is stiffer than usual when you are inserting a standard electrical headphone jack and binds halfway in (which one could easily describe as feeling "not deep enough"). But because of its internal mechanical complications, it doesn't always reset properly when you remove the plug. This is a known problem with this model of Macintosh. Often inserting and removing the plug a few times will loosen it up enough to restore the speaker contact. If it doesn't, then a trip to an Apple Certified Repair outlet is in order.
If you google "macbook pro audio jack repair", you will find reports from hundreds of people encountering this problem. The actual repair involves a logic board swapout, and can be very costly. My advice would be to get a quote for this, then call Apple Customer Relations and propose that it should be done free for you because it is a clearly documented widespread product defect. The people at Customer Relations are surprisingly liberal and I have had excellent results going this route.

Does anyone know the spark plug wire order on a d15b7

Oil is leaking into your spark plug holes from the valve chamber. It's not a good idea to leave the oil in the spark plug holes, as it can pool high enough to damage the rubber boots of your spark plug wires, will make the plug hole really messy, and it may eventually become a fire hazard. Below is how to fix it.

Honda's preferred spark plug location means that the plugs (and their wires) must pass through deep recesses in the top of the valve covers to get to the combustion chamber. This gives better plug placement in the combustion chamber, and more zoom for your Honda. It creates a small problem though: Under the valve cover, all around the spark plug recesses, is an open space that is constantly being showered with oil, and that oil will get into the spark plug recesses unless something is done to keep it out. Honda does this by sealing any joins between parts with little rubber donuts (AKA "grommets").

The rubber donuts eventually get old and stop sealing, letting oil seep into the spark plug holes and puddle there. The cure is replacement of all four (or six), along with the valve cover gasket itself (themselves) at the same time. It's an easy project for anyone who's done more than just oil changes.

However, there's a fly in the ointment here: Certain Honda engines, specifically the 4-valve-per-cylinder, single-overhead-cam ones (such as the D15B that's used in many Civics), have an additional rubber seal under the one I just mentioned! This one also gets old and starts leaking, but these are a LOT harder to replace! Not a job for a beginner!

NOTE: The rubber parts under discussion here are not actually red and orange, they're black, I just used colors to make it clearer which was what.

Why am I unable to hear sounds through my head phones Galaxy S5

Check the headphone connector for lint.
Restart your phone.

Is there sound from the external speaker without headphones plugged in?
Is your phone playing sound through the external speaker with the headphones plugged in, or is there no sound at all?
Do you have any third party apps such as SoundAbout installed on your Samsung Galaxy S5?

Tail light wires

I just solved my identical problem on a 2003 750 ACE. The four way connection in back of the license plate housing was pushed inside the back of the housing with the left turn signal wire crimped a little between the housing and the fender (probably at the factory)., It wasn't crimped enough to break the wire, but just enough to apparently short out the circuit. The clear vinyl cover was melted just a little bit where the wire was crimped but it didn't look like there was enough damage to cause a short. I stripped the clear vinyl cover off, taped it with electrical tape, and made sure that all of the wires were pushed inside the back of the housing. Everything works, plus the 15 amp fuse doesn't blow anymore. Hope this helps.

Soap gets clotted is soap dispenser. Dishes greasy and dirty after cycle.

Hi, the soap is clotting because there isn't enough water being sprayed around inside. The water spray washes the soap out of the dish, if all is working well. My machine had the same problem. I had sufficient water level, but the spray head wasn't spinning very well. I found the end-most hole in the spray bar to be plugged. It is the end hole that provides a jet that makes the head spin. I cleaned a bunch of debris out of the hole and the machine started working and cleaning like it was new.

My bissell proheat turbo 2x hand tools will dispense solution but not water.

  • Fixed it! The check valve on the bottom of the bladder wasn't going deep enough into the recepticle on the base of the unit; the valve wasn't opening, and the pump was sucking from a dead end. (It WOULD pull soap from the small tank, but not the main bladder reservoir.) I cut a 3/4" piece of a disposable ball-point pen cap, to ride over the rod in the center of the recepticle. Long enough to push the valve open, but short enough that the tank assembly sat down on the base. If the rod is too long, it will push the whole tank up, and break the vacuum seal at the forward edge. Evidently this thing was designed to a tight tolerance, and just a little aging/distortion of the plastic reservoir base was just enough to keep the valve from being pushed open!

CD player on computer has locked it self and I don't know how to unlock. I've used a straightened paper clip inserted in the tiny hole to open but now that doesn't work either.

    Hello,

This hole MUST work :) it will not pop out the tray like it does after clicking button.

You have to poke this hole GENTLY, deep while deeply you push then more will the tray come out. When it comes enough to grab it with fingers then you will pull it easly.

Check video below to see how.

Leave rate if I helped you, thanks!!

the base that the unit plugs into has a plug in for the transducer and one for the power. make sure that the power plug is pushed in far enough on the mount so the unit gets power. then tighten up the screw that holds the two in place.

Bravetti Deep Fryer Model F1053B Not getting Power anymore

Hey guys I fixed my problem...yay. All I did was to push a red button which I beleive is a resset button on the back of the on/off button part. It ain't visible but if you look in the holes of the screws that hold this part together (they are far down in the hole) one of them hides a small red button. Push it down with a toothpick or anything small enough to fit the hole and you're done. Plug it back and it works.
