If TigerShark cannot climb pool walls: • Clean the filter. It may be clogged or too heavy from excessive debris. • Brushes may be worn. Inspect brushes and replace if worn. If TigerShark fails to pick up fine or heavy debris: • Clean the filter. It may be clogged. • An optional high velocity inlet is available from your dealer which clips on to the bottom lid. This inlet creates extra suction for lifting fine or heavy debris. This part also can be helpful if unit becomes routinely stuck on a raised main drain. If TigerShark starts working momentarily but then stops working: • Impeller may be clogged or jammed with debris. Check and clean if necessary • Brush rollers or drive tracks are stuck. Check for debris and clean if necessary. • TigerShark is out of the water. Put TigerShark in water and reset the power.

No pressure on gauge on filter pump

The same thing happened to me. So frustrating! I guess the pump that comes with the intex pool is not strong enough to do this. At least that is what I was told. So I just ended up sending that vaccum back and getting a catfish vaccum. Works great!

Polaris won't move and seems to be nose down. The tail is moving but thats it. also when i bring the tail out of the water, it doesn;t have much water pressure shooting out.

Check the pool cleaners filter screen in the in-line filter and clean, if necessary.Clean the skimmer basket, pump basket, and pool filter. If one of these is full or clogged, it could be weighing part of the cleaner down. Check all of the hoses, connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of
water pressure. Finally, make sure that your wheel RPM is set correctly (between 28-30 RPM)

The wheels on my Polaris 3900 don't move. Plenty of water coming thru the thrust and the tail wags. When I move the wheels manually they all move together.

There are a couple things that you should check with these pool cleaners if the wheels are functioning properly. Check the filter screen in the in-line filter assembly and clean if necessary.Make sure that you do not have any debris or obstructions that could be halting wheel function. Even though you seem to have plenty of water, check the RPM and make sure they are between 28 and 32.

My Polaris 380 just stop moving the pump was run and had good pressure turn one wheel they all turn freely also tail dose not move

Check several things if these pool cleaners stop moving. Check the filter screen in the in-line filter and clean, if necessary. Clean the skimmer basket, pump basket, and pool filter. Check all of the hoses,
connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of water pressure. Make sure that your wheel RPM is between 28 and 32. Adjust your thrust if necessary to get RPM to that level.

Pool cleaner won't work

Sounds like the filter is getting very dirty and lowering the suction needed for the cleaner to run properly. If that is the case, there are two ways to address the problem. 1. Everytime the cleaner stops, clean the filter. 2. Use a manual vac and cut the pipe that comes off the top of the pump and goes to the filter. By eliminating the filter, you should be able to clean the pool a lot faster. You'll have to empty the pump basket often.

Pool cleaner Won't move

For these automatic pool cleaners, make sure that the filter bags are clean and free of obstructions. Check your impeller. Sometimes hair and other materials can get caught in the impeller and can cause the unit not to move. Finally, make sure that you are getting adequate pressure from your return lines.

My pump pressure is 10psi i cleaned the de filters they seem fine i have good floe out of my jets but when i hook the pool cleaner up pressure drops to almost nothing. could my impeller be the problem

The pressure you are reading is the pressure in the filter tank as water is pumped though it. When the filter is freshly charged, 9 PSI is a good pressure.

As the filter removes particles from the water the filter gets "dirty" -- it takes more pressure to push the water through it thus raising the PSI.

I think you are viewing this in reverse. Low filter pressure is "good" (as long as it stays above 8 PSI) -- as the filter cleans the water the PSI will increase -- when it gets to 15-20 PSI it needs to be back-washed and recharged.

The pressure drops when the pool cleaner is connected because pool cleaners always pull in air (in varying amounts) because of all the hose connections. This causes your filter/tank pressure to drop.
