Question about LG 42LB5D 42 in. LCD Television
It sounds like you have bad DC filter caps in the power supply, when its cold the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) will go up if you have bad cap, goes down when it is warm up, I use hair dryer for locating bad caps, and small low watt soldering iron for heating up individual cap once the general area is located by hair dryer, this trick is 30 years old! You can see ESR goes down when heated if you have cap meter with ESR testing function.
