Question about Sony STR-DA7100ES
I am working on a Sony STR DA7100ES amplifier. Shotly after I apply power, the relay picks but then it drops out right after it picks. The unit continues to do this and the display stays dark. Is there a website with fixes listed for this unit?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This condition, may be produced by defective components (Q506, Q507). you can remove those transistor, replace the fuses, power-on and wait for relays click. if the fuses not blown again, them replace both transistor.

There's a button that turns the speakers OFF right above the headphone jack.
Get the manual: retrevo.com

Testimonial: "@dunnbiker Very true on assumptions! I've tried everything the manual suggests. Right now, nothing is connected to the unit, but upon power up, I get the SP:OFF display (which is not seen in the DEMO mode). I will try the headphone jiggling idea and see what happens."
