Question about IBM ThinkPad T40 2373 Notebook
See a similar answer I recently posted.
To toubleshoot hook up an external display and if it has the data, then shine a flashlight closely into the front of the display. If you see some dim data, then troubleshoot the inverter first and replace if needed, or if its not the issue it is the ccl inside the display assembly.
If it is the ccl the either buy a used display on line, or if you are skilled and ambitious the change out the display ccl with a new one bought online (start with ebay).
If the external display does not display your data and the flashlight shows not dim data, remove the memory, reboot and check the post codes etc.
