Question about Air Tools & Compressors
Well without model number and brand, it is impossible to say, but there could be. Motors on equipment quite often are thermally protected. They could be manually reset or automatic. The manual resets are usually a red button, usually somewhere near where the wiring enters the motor. Press it HARD to reset. If that was the problem, now you must find out why it overloaded. Was the pressure set to high? Did it run very extended period of time and overheat? What is the duty cycle of the compressor you have. Did you exceed that duty cycle? Check to be sure you have power on the circuit you are operating it on.
